STORY
You’re the new adventurer helping to clear out the Ruins of Luxoria! But when you begin dating Knight Captain Sarria, both of your lives turn completely upside down! The only question now is, will your cock be enough for her?
There is no overall story. Luxoria is a dungeon that makes people more sexually promiscuous, and its begun to affect Sarria. It’s up to you whether or not she resists its charms.
The writing in this game focuses on the cuckolding fetish, also known as netorare. However, in one of the endings, Sarria leaves you for good to be with the blacksmith. This can get pretty hardcore if you want it to.
There are at least ten distinct endings, though none are super developed or meaningful. There aren’t distinct routes, so you can play in any number of ways and still get the ending you desire.
Players can customize the names of the main characters of the game.
GAMEPLAY
Ruins of Luxoria was created with RPG Maker VX Ace. You move with the arrow keys and press spacebar to interact with objects and people. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Press ‘D’ to hide the text box. Press S to show dialogue history.
The first two hours of the game are spent learning basic mechanics and dating Sarria. This requires spending time with her and having a first sexual experience. If you want, you can give her virginity to some random guy!
As a standard dungeon crawler, you defeat enemies to earn experience points and items. These items can be traded in at the adventurer’s guild for money. Use that money to buy healing items and new equipment.
This game is a big step down from the developer’s previous title, Amor Magical Academy. In particular, this game removed the mechanic of you competing with other men for women. Instead, there is one woman, and she always comes back to you.
All dungeon areas are randomized, and exploring them will advance day to night. You can only loan Sarria out during the night. All enemies are symbol encounters rather than randomly generated fights. Dungeons are largely barren, with very few treasure chests to be found.
Although a virgin playthrough is possible, there is no benefit to it. In fact, many gameplay functions require sex. For example, the blacksmith won’t stock new items until you have sex with him.
Sarria can get pregnant and give birth, but the children do not impact the game. The main reason to have sex is to raise stats.
GRAPHICS
The artwork is in classic Japanese anime style. The visuals are simplistic and lack detail. Worse, they focus on Sarria, making them very repetitive.
There are at least 50 sex scenes, with only 15-25 base CGs. This means that numerous artworks repeat. It honestly felt like half the scenes could be cut without any significant loss to the quality of the experience.
Small pixel animations are used, but they were all recycled from the previous game. The few pixel artworks that are new, were horribly under-used, like the CG where Sarria sits with her legs spread as the creampie leaks out. This pixel animation was hot, but it was rarely used in the actual game.
The men are never shown. The only character with a visual design is Sarria. She always wears the same outfit, which seems like a missed opportunity. Worst of all, the artist has no concept of basic anatomy. One artwork in particular shows Sarria with two left feet! It looked so wrong, it seriously messed up a sexy moment.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Ruins of Luxoria has no voice acting.
RPG sound effects are standard stock fodder and easy to ignore. You hear a sword slash, an ice blast, every attack type has an individual sound. It honestly seems as if the developer dragged files from the previous title into this one. Although the sex sound effects are nice and not too dramatic, but they lack variety. By the fiftieth scene you’ll just mute the game.
MUSIC
There are 83 songs in this game. While most songs are passed down from Amor Magical Academy, the new tracks are downright fantastic. Sadly, these new tracks are rarely used. Stock music plays in towns and dungeons, with special music only playing during the rare story events. The developer mismanaged his music by hiding the best tracks while constantly playing the worst.
The best tracks rely on drums, piano, and violin to create a sense of longing that touched my heart. The worst tracks are fully digitized beats that loop every 30 seconds, featuring the most forgettable rhythms on the planet. One moment it’s elevator music, the next you’re treated to beautiful melodies! This experience is a mixed bag of horrors!
HENTAI
The game has about 50 sex scenes, with far fewer base CGs. Expect artworks to repeat frequently.
This game has a large number of scenes, but only a handful are high quality. Often there wasn’t enough buildup and it felt like Sarria didn’t care what was happening.
The scenes that are actually good, are sure to make you cum buckets! I got my girlfriend drunk at the bar and loaned her out to a complete stranger!
