STORY
Otome is a schoolgirl with magical powers. She’s a skilled exorcist! As part of her duties in the exorcist club on campus, she tracks down and defeats demons to stop their evil from spreading into the wide world.
Otome and Mei are the two members of the exorcist club. As you progress through your adventure you’ll soon gather a party of seven exorcists. With their combined efforts, the exorcist club can triumph over the forces of evil and stop the horny demons from kidnapping bitches.
The game is split up into 40 missions, each with varying difficulty levels denoted by how many stars appear alongside the mission data. 1 star is an easy task, while 5 stars is the most difficult. A number of these missions are simply H-events, and can be avoided while still completing the game.
Under normal circumstances, the story would end with Otome and her crew defeating all the demons and restoring peace to society. But this game includes multiple variations on the story depending on your choices. For example, you lose against the hypnotist, the game will end with Otome turned into a sex slave for the rest of her days. There are at least five endings, where losing the battle leads to a sexy scene.
GAMEPLAY
Otome The Exorcist was created with RPG Maker. Press spacebar to interact with objects and people. Press SHIFT to run. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Press ‘A’ to show the conversation log.
The game cycle is your classic RPG dungeon crawler. Enter an area full of monsters and defeat them all for loot. Buy better equipment with your blood money for your next expedition. Defeating enemies earns you experience points that can be used as a currency to purchase new abilities. The system is interesting in that you can either level up your character or their skills. For example, you can either be level 20 with average skills, or unlock that super powerful spell and fall back to level 10.
Each dungeon is randomly generated. As you explore one floor, you’ll find items and enemies. As you go down the steps deeper into the dungeon, the map will randomize. Note, you cannot save the game in dungeons.
There are no random encounters in this game. All enemies are represented by sprites which you can avoid. While farming is useful for the loot and EXP you gain, the enemies are tough enough that you’ll be forced to spend your consumable items. In boss battles, you need to be stacked with items to defeat the big baddy, so you have to avoid other monster encounters.
Your character has a “Lewd Level” that increases as a result of item use and events. Increasing the lewd level will unlock new H-scenes. After viewing a scene, it’s available at the title screen under “Gallery”.
You have about ten hours of gameplay to enjoy. If you don’t pursue the hentai scenes, you can complete the game in far fewer hours. Fap-time is included in my calculations!
GRAPHICS
The art style is traditional Japanese anime style. There are numerous girls with H-scenes, but the majority of content is focused around the main character, Otome. With her long silver hair and cute schoolgirl outfit, she’s the most beautiful waifu in the entire game.
Standard and unique RPG Maker assets are used to create a gorgeous world for players to explore. The standard grass tiles and doorways are perfect already, so why bother making new ones? Meanwhile, the world is enormous! You explore areas like the hallways of high school, the northern temple, and the red light district. You can tell by a glance whether you’re in the district for business or pleasure. Each area has its own personality.
Each character looks unique with a sexy outfit that makes them a pleasure to watch. The schoolgirl outfits come with short skirts and tight blouses. The girls also wear swimsuits and micro bikinis!
Each woman has slightly varied body proportions, with bust sizes ranging from flat to big. The characters also have unique color schemes. Mei always wears red clothes that highlight her hair color. Even in the pregnancy scenes, the girls have perfect realistic body proportions, adding to the immersion of the fapping experience. There’s also minor animation during sex scenes, and a cross-sectional view of their vaginas! You can see the penis digging into the vaginal tunnel with a basic thrusting animation.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Otome The Exorcist has partial voice acting. The girls only make sounds during sex scenes where they let out generic moans that do not change between characters.
The sound effects are classic RPG fodder. A basic hit is accompanied by a thump, a crackle of fire rings in the air when you cast flame spells. The sex sounds are above average, featuring a realistic slushy sound of a penis moving in and out of sopping wet vagina. I’ve played plenty of games where the developers went too far creating incredibly loud noises. This game’s audio is less loud, nuanced, and immersive.
MUSIC
The soundtrack has 272 songs in total, making up half a gigabyte of data. Some songs are only a minute long, but others are well above three minutes. Although the majority of songs come with your standard RPG Maker asset library, they are used sparingly and only in between original tracks.
The music mixes electric guitar and synth-digital beats. The style reminded me of Sonic the Hedgehog. The light-hearted tone has a rhythm that makes you excited to keep fighting. The songs remain enjoyable to listen to while you explore deep dark dungeons.
HENTAI
Otome The Exorcist has 35 sex scenes in total, and 37 base CGs. This means that no artwork repeats itself, and you’ll always be faced with a unique fap experience in every scene.
Each sex scene has a large number of variations. There’s like 300 images in total. The variants showcase the girls’ gradual descent into depravity: From panties on, to panties off. From erotic dry humping, to slipping in just the tip, to finally full-on balls deep connection and vaginal creampies!
