Vitnir is an experienced soldier of the royal army. It is now her responsibility to conquer the tribes in the land of Takama-Ga-Hara. Using her brainwashing technology, she’ll soon make her enemies compliant with her every command.

STORY
Vitnir has conquered countless nations with her brainwashing technology. With a strong desire to rise above her station, she is hoping to use this last conquest to raise an army and have everyone serve under her command.
There are 4 tribes to conquer, with 3 stages for each tribe. This makes a total of 12 levels to play through. Simply kill your enemies and brainwash their leaders, and your military campaign will be a success.
Beyond that, there is little story to be found. The entire game can be completed in less than two hours, which doesn’t give much time for dialogue and character development. In fact, most characters are one dimensional and do not develop at all.
GAMEPLAY
Ship of Servitude was created with RPG Maker. You move with the arrow keys. Press F4 to go fullscreen and F5 to reset the game. Hold the Shift key to skip dialogue. The download folder for the game comes with a manual to explain advanced controls.
The advanced controls are clunky and annoying. Press “J” to attack. Press “H” to special attack. Press “K” to pause. Press “E” for select. Press “T” for retreat. And so on, and so forth. For a two hour game, the developers are asking you to memorize a lot.
There are no level-ups, shops, or money mechanics. Simply run up to enemies and repeatedly tap “J” until they die. There is no real reason to kill enemies, because you gain nothing from it.
The DLsite store page exaggerates the gameplay features. The page claims you will brainwash women to join your ranks, strengthen them, and then use them as assistants in battle. While this is all technically true, the content is scripted.
With a premise like this, you’re right to expect military management simulation. Instead, your goal is to destroy big rocks spread across the map. Go to a rock, press “J”, and search for the next big rock. When they’re all destroyed, you can enslave a lady.
GRAPHICS
There are 23 base CGs with hundreds of other miscellaneous images.
The art is all drawn by Shou Ogawa. He is known for grotesque drawings that can upset the average viewer.
There are at least ten characters in the game that are drawn with numerous character stills. Counting those stills alone, we’re looking at over a hundred CG images, along with combat poses and special content for H-scenes.
When it comes to imagery, this game is incredible. The sheer variety of high quality art is worthy of praise.
Players will always return to their base of operations, which houses the women they have brainwashed. You’ll be able to watch your base fill up with women and become ever more crowded with each conquest.
The user interface is simple and easy to understand. The green bar represents health while the blue bar represents “substitution”. When it is full, you can swap characters mid-battle. Lastly, the circular image next to your healthbar fills up in a clockwise fashion to indicate when you are ready to launch your special attack. Everything is animated smoothly and is very simple to understand.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Ship of Servitude features minor voice acting during combat situations. When swapping characters, or using a special ability, you will hear a one liner from the girl. Each girl has a unique voice that sets them apart.
Sound effects are standard RPG Maker assets, and only used in combat situations. You hear the pound of a punch, the slash of a special attack, and more. All combat actions are matched with a corresponding sound. Sexual situations however, feature no sound effects. There isn’t even a sound for inserting the penis! You better keep your eyes glued to the dialogue box, or you’ll have no clue what’s going on.
MUSIC
There are 21 songs on the soundtrack.
The music is primarily stock RPG Maker tracks. Because most of the game is spent in combat levels, you will be subjected to a single track mostly. It’s hardcore rock music with electric guitar and drums. It’s a good song, but it’s only a minute long and loops forever until you complete the level. Chances are, you’ll mute the game after the eighth loop.
HENTAI
Ship of Servitude has 13 scenes in total, though it could have more depending on your version of the game. The newest updates to the game include over 20 scenes, in spite of the store page advertising only 13.
The primary fetishes featured in this game are futanari and brainwashing. Even the girls that seem like they don’t have dicks, are going to suddenly have dicks when the plot demands it.
The corruption and brainwashing of each lady happens in a single scene every time. Naturally, the corruption is not very satisfying, because it was over so quickly. There are many choices made by the developer that keep scenes from being sexy. The cum is yellow and orange, the women are given electrical shocks. Whenever you compliment a girl, she receives an electrical jolt that is paired with a sound effect of electricity. It sounds more painful than sexy.
It seems like the audience for this game is very specific. You have to love sadomasochism and futa porn and brainwashing in order to have a good time. If you don’t like one of those things, this game will be a turn off.
CONCLUDING WORDS
Ship of Servitude is a unique futa brainwashing porn game. The gameplay is lackluster, the story is unimpressive, and the music is tedious. Its best asset is the art, which is hit-of-miss material for most hentai fans. Only consider this game if you’re a huge fan of futa.
