STORY
Viola is a busty sorceress who has a huge crush on the knight captain named Lute. Unfortunately for her, Lute is more interested in a cute and pure waifu named Bell. Enraged by jealousy, Viola begins her search for ancient scrolls of power.
Towards the end of her journey, Viola will meet a rival sorceress named Nico, who is notorious for murdering men at random! With Bell taken care of, Viola must now focus her attention on defeating Nico and save the town!
The game is very long, but the story is actually very short. The writing breaks the fourth wall, and cracks some absurd jokes.
There are three endings in total. Finding all five cursed scrolls will unlock the first ending. Finding three or four of the scrolls will unlock the second ending. Finding less than three scrolls will give you the worst ending. Because the ending is decided by gameplay success (and the game is so long), it will be nearly impossible for you to see all three endings.
GAMEPLAY
Bible Violet was created with RPG Maker. You move with the arrow keys and press spacebar to interact with objects and people. Press Shift to retreat from battle. Press W to seduce your enemy. Press A to change your attack skill. Press S to change your assist skill. The pause menu has a game manual that explains the controls further.
The gameplay is almost pure exploration. You walk around, open vases and treasure chests, hoping to find a key, or switch that will open the next floor. Along the way you can defeat enemies to earn new crafting ingredients.
Combat is almost fully automated. Standing next to an enemy will drain both of your health bars. Use items to increase your health so you can outlast your enemies. None of this requires any thought.
There are four locations in the game to explore. The Black Market allows you to purchase items and equipment. The dungeon allows you to explore and find scrolls. “Hera’s Valley” allows you to prostitute yourself and talk to townspeople. The Camp is your base of operations where you’ll always return to. The base camp allows you to review cutscenes, combine materials, and identify mysterious items.
The game is split into three difficulties. Easy mode allows for endless exploration, while medium and hard mode limit your combat points. This means you can only fight a certain amount of enemies before being forced to return to camp. All sex scenes and CGs will be unlocked if you complete hard mode.
All of these gameplay features are very exciting, but they’re overshadowed by the grindy content. You run in circles in an enormous labyrinth trying to find something that will allow you to explore deeper. The path to progress is very unclear, which makes the entire experience incredibly frustrating. On top of that, players are punished for spending too much time in the dungeon. In fact, you will be locked out of certain hentai scenes if you spend too much time exploring. All of this makes for a very unhappy experience. There are so many great features to this game, but a time limit and confusing game world ruin it all.
GRAPHICS
The art is traditional Japanese anime style. The art is not consistent. Breast and butt sizes change dramatically depending on the scene. On top of that, the shape of the breasts changes as well. Many times, the shadowing and light effects look completely unrealistic. To represent light, a curved white line covers the side of the hair. It doesn’t look like light, it looks like scribbles.
The profile images of the characters look ugly. Many times, you can barely tell if it’s even the same character.
On the positive side, diagonal sprite movement is very useful and gives the player a great sense of control over their character. This is especially important because combat occurs with icon encounters, rather than randomly. Because you can see the enemy icons, you can zip past them with diagonal movement and continue exploring the dungeon.
The game includes 29 base CGs and over 350 CGs in total. Each of the 29 scenes comes in three variations: Clothed, naked, and pregnant sex. Add in variation images and different expressions for each scene, and the 29 scenes go up 350 in total.
SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)
Bible Violet has no voice acting.
The sound effects are mostly RPG Maker stock assets, but they’re used well. For example, when you smash an ancient vase, you hear the sound of porcelain breaking. It’s great feedback to the player. The combat noises are good too, even though you’ve heard this stuff many times over.
MUSIC
Bible Violet has 22 songs on the soundtrack. The vast majority of them are original productions.
The musical range is great. Violin and bongos work together to create a wonderfully jazzy beat. In contrast, some seriously scary music abruptly begins when you’re being chased by a giant ogre. Better still, emotional moments have several songs with actual lyrics! The singing is either French or Italian, I can’t tell. The singer sounds wonderful.
HENTAI
Bible Violet has 29 sex scenes in total.
Featured sex positions include standing sex, doggystyle, and boobjobs. There are also more exotic positions. For example, a girl might be held in the air by her arms and legs by a bunch of tentacles. Shit gets wild.
The game is primarily monster sex, with some human sex on the side. There are 8 monsters, each wit their own fucking and birthing scenes. That’s right, Viola can be impregnated by monsters and give birth to their babies! Werewolf cubs were my favorite.
Bell is the core reason why this game is marked with the “Corruption” tag. For the crime of talking to a guy that Viola liked, Bell is cursed in five different sex scenes. The best scene is when her body is under your control, and you force this pure waifu to become a free-use slut! After taking creampies from many complete strangers, you can curse her again and force her to have sex with a demon! She gets so corrupted, there’s even a chance she’ll turn into a demon herself!
If you can’t find all the cursed scrolls in the dungeon, Viola herself can always prostitute herself to random townspeople. My favorite scene is where she offers to have sex with a homeless bum! Too bad she can only get impregnated by monsters!

Bible Violet is a unique hentai RPG from a Japanese studio mostly known for femdom and netorare. This surprising release offers juicy impregnation, and corruption content, and a fantastic musical soundtrack that ties it all together.
