STORY

There is no overall story. The developer himself warns fans on the store page not to expect a good story.
This game is best described as “Woman Simulator”. You’ll have periods, go through the ovulation cycle, and go shopping for feminine hygiene products. PMS and morning sickness may occur if you have an especially heavy period.
The direction of the plot depends on player choice. Will you work as a prostitute? Or get a normal job? And will you use condoms and birth control pills? Or will you take bareback creampies from complete strangers?
After you give birth, the government takes your child away so you can focus on breeding more babies. From there you have two choices. You can continue slutting around and getting pregnant, or, you can become a mother!
The government will only allow you to raise your child if you pay them a million yen bounty. Raise the money, and the game will end with Hazumi settling down as a “stay at home mom”. Otherwise, the game goes on forever.
GAMEPLAY
Hazumi was created with RPG Maker, but has significant scripting to make it a completely unique title. Movement is controlled with your keyboard’s arrow keys, or your mouse. Press Z to interact with people and objects. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Press W to see your message history. Press Q to hide the text box.
The game is primarily a “Woman Simulator”. You need money to pay rent, buy feminine hygiene products, and feed yourself on a day to day basis. Outside of your finances, everything is up to player choice.
There are no battles or power-ups. Instead you raise a stat called “Charm” by living a more comfortable life. Buy jewelry, add furniture to your house, and take a hot shower in order to increase your charm. Doing so will increase your earnings at work. Whether you’re a waitress or a prostitute, feminine charm will help you earn more from your hours.
Working as a prostitute offers you a mini-game of managing desire. You need to make your man cum, while also keeping Hazumi satisfied. She needs to be turned on to be properly lubricated for sex. Will you play with her tits? Or maybe go for a handjob? There are tons of choices you can make, and each has a unique impact.

GRAPHICS
The art is Japanese anime style. Heavy lighting and cotton candy colors used frequently.
There are no CGs in this game. Eyes, fingernails, hairstyles, and clothing are all mixed and matched with overlapping visual assets. There is no image gallery, because all sex scenes are generated on the spot.
Character customization is detailed and fun to use. After purchasing jewelry or nail polish, players can paint their nails and put on cute accesories. You can let your hair down or tie it up, and use numerous beauty products to change your skin. Will you bleach and lighten your skin, or allow it to darken with stretch marks? The choice is yours!
The pause menu is a smart phone, which fits well with the story of a young lady on her own. You’ll unlock more apps for your phone as the game progresses. Each app has unique functions that reward you for making money and meeting new people.
The world design is wonderful. My favorite area is the giant furniture store with shopping mall music. Just like real life, I love to run through and look at all the things on sale! These huge and detailed settings are perfect for relaxing after a long day of riding cock.
The options menu allows players to customize the visuals. You can customize the screen resolution to fit whatever size you desire. You can turn on “cross sectional view” to witness a creampie with x-ray vision. You can show or hide darkened pregnancy nipples and stretch marks. And most importantly, you can skip birthing scenes if you’re not in the mood!
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Hazumi and the Pregnation has no voice acting.
The sound effects in this title are mostly standard RPG Maker assets, and pretty forgettable overall. Because sex scenes are controlled by a minigame, there are no standardized sound effects. It pulls you out of the moment, because it feels like you’re tapping on a keyboard staring at a still image. Better sound design would have made this game perfect.
MUSIC
The soundtrack has 54 songs in total, all of them techno or digitized. There is a heavy reliance on electric piano and vague electronic tones. There isn’t much to admire here, because no real instruments are used. You can mute the game and miss nothing.
HENTAI
The game has five basic sex scenes, with just as many CGs.
There are three unique sex scenes and two basic prostitution scenes. Those two are divided by missionary and doggystyle positions. In other words, after those three unique scenes, the rest of the game is a snore.
