The game doesn’t have a strong, over-arching story. Instead, it focuses solely on individual plot-lines with each character that you have to complete over time. This is one of the game’s best features: The ability to ignore whatever character you want, and still be able to make progress with other characters.

As you play through the game, you will also start unlocking more locations and girls to enjoy.

GAMEPLAY

Milfy City is a visual novel. You click the screen to advance the story. You also make choices that impact the story. Very few choices affect anything. If you want to know which choices actually matter, a walkthrough is recommended!

The gameplay is not limited to reading text. You’ll be clicking a lot. You click the locations on the world map to go to different areas, interact with objects, and talk to people. There’s also an inventory system, where you select items and use them on objects. There’s a basic phone screen, which you use to view text messages. Yes, the ladies send you nudes.

One gripe I had was that inside of buildings, I couldn’t use the world map. If you could, it would save a lot of time from clicking through different rooms.

Furthermore, you will play mini-games, which earn you money, and help you progress through the story. These mini-games include “rock paper scissors”, a memory game, a trash cleaning game, etc. The mini-games are the weakest parts of the experience. There’s no real effort put into the mini-games, and many of them just waste your time, when all you want to do is take more photos of your sister’s ass in erotic cosplay outfits!

GRAPHICS

The art assets include 3D images and fully animated scenes. The visuals are of higher quality than many similar games on the market. The textures are clean, the rooms are well done, and the camera angles smartly picked.

The male protagonist is a generic scrawny guy with a big cock. Thankfully the female characters are much more appealing. They fall into basic archetypes: Your mom is a standard MILF. The younger sister is a classic girl-next-door. Your teacher is a bitchy-looking woman in her early 30s.

Besides the quality CGs, the game also bolsters animated sex scenes; while not fully animated, each scene has at least one animation. The movement looks natural and very well made.

I don’t have many complaints, but a couple things irked me. The user interface is a little too plain. Also, the main character’s sperm looks unnatural. Overall, the game is quite immersive and visually pleasing.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Milfy City has no voice acting.

Sound effects are abundant in this game. Almost everything that can be clicked has a corresponding sound effect. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but solid design overall. The sounds are perhaps a little exaggerated at times.

MUSIC

The soundtrack rocks 17 different songs, used appropriately in each scene they play in. Some are stock tracks used in similar games, so a few songs might sound familiar to you. While there isn’t any atmospheric background noise, the very nice music does a great job at filling the silence.

There’s upbeat music for comedic scenes, slow romantic music in the sex scenes, jazzy tunes, nonchalant bass guitar beats, and more. Soon as you start up the game, you’re greeted by a smooth and catchy tune. The atmosphere is great, even if the songs aren’t original.

HENTAI

The game has hundreds, if not thousands of images and dozens of animations. Though it doesn’t have as many girls as other games, each girl has plenty of content. There’s also foreplay scenes that keep you engaged through the first few hours of play. As I mentioned earlier, the game has an interactive phone where you receive nudes from the girls.

One of the game’s current drawbacks is that sometimes it introduces characters to you, and then shows you a green “Work in Progress” screen. It’s a real annoyance with games still in development, but the way this developer handles things is particularly annoying. I sincerely hope he improves on this.

The dialogue is not exactly amazing. The main character is a little wussy sometimes. If he was more assertive, several scenes would have been much sexier. It’s realistic considering his age, but goddamn.

CONCLUDING WORDS

Milfy City is currently one of the biggest Patreon porn games on the market. It achieved this level of success, primarily due to the quality of its art, animations and overall design. Though far from perfect, this game currently offers many hours of fun, as long as you don’t expect an outstanding story or great dialogue. Highly recommended free Patreon game.
