You are a local adventurer exploring the mysterious Drain Dungeon. Every time you leave the dungeon, all your levels are reset back to zero. Rather than let those levels go to waste, you should give them to the local succubus in exchange for sex!

STORY
Sophia, Eleneaor, and Rinon are the three succubus sisters who run the local brothel. In exchange for a magic item to save you from death, they will take your levels after you leave the dungeon. And so begins your adventure in the Drain Dungeon!
The writing in this game is pretty basic. Most conversations add a bit of lore to the world, like how Rinon created the dungeon’s entrance pass for humans. None of these plot points are expanded upon, and there isn’t really an overall plot.
There are four endings in total. You can end up together with one of the three succubi, or unlock the harem ending.
GAMEPLAY
Drain Dungeon was created with the Wolf RPG Editor, with a large amount of licensed assets to make it a unique experience. Use the arrow keys to navigate menus and press spacebar to make choices. Press Shift to increase battle speed. Press F12 to reset the game.
You will be resetting the game a lot. This game is almost entirely based on randomized outcomes. You can increase your attributes and equipment quality, but everything boils down to randomized outcomes.
What items will the enemies drop? Will the treasure chest have something helpful or hurtful? Will that bright light regain or take away your stamina? Will you randomly lose levels or find an item to gain levels? And will you randomly stumble across achievements that earn prana, or play for hours without finding a single one?
Prana is the core of the gameplay loop. Even though your level is constantly reset back to one, you will gain prana after every adventure. Prana can be used to boost attributes, carry more items, or change your character class. Players are never explicitly told how to farm prana, so you’re stuck praying that random luck is on your side.
The game will take a minimum of six hours to complete, but you’re likely to rage quit many times along the way. If you want to see this type of game done right, check out our review of Dungeon Repeater.
GRAPHICS
The art is Japanese anime style. It would be more enjoyable, except for the constantly visible UI text that obstructs the art.
All artworks are drawn in an 800×600 aspect ratio. There are 19 base CGs spread across 22 sex scenes. Outside of sex scenes, nearly all other assets are licensed from their true creators. This means the artworks will seem unique, unless you’re a hentai veteran.
The straightforward user interface and unique animations for your weapons make the game downright beautiful. And the ability to turn pubic hair on or off was icing on the cake! Sadly, the visuals have their issues, which you notice later on.
While the background images are nice, there are only eight of them and the game can last upwards of eight hours, so things will get repetitive fast. And a lack of auto-battle means you’ll spend literal hours fighting the same enemies over and over again until you can’t stand them anymore. Worst of all, once your character climaxes, the screen flashes with big bold text that says “level down”. It’s so unnecessary and ruins many of the sexy moments, I hated it.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Drain Dungeon has no voice acting.
The sound effects in this game are primarily licensed tracks, with some stock assets thrown in. Almost all attacks are digital chimes and dings. Even a sword slash sounds more like placing a file in the recycle bin on your computer. This game fails at being immersive due to bad audio cues, but at least the sound design is unique and fits the arcade style gameplay.
MUSIC
The soundtrack has under ten songs, all licensed or unique to this developer. Admittedly, these tracks are very basic. Fully digitized to mimic flutes and other wind instruments, none of the tracks pop out. Even if the songs are unique compositions, that doesn’t mean they’re automatically high quality. And because the game is centered around redoing the same dungeon over and over again, there’s little if any opportunity to shake things up. Sadly, the music in this game is downright forgettable.
HENTAI
There are 19 base CGs spread out across 22 sex scenes. The primary fetishes featured are prostitution and mild masochism.
Since you’re dealing with succubi, it’s only natural they’re dominant in the bedroom! Even when they let you take charge, the dialogue makes it clear that they’re in control. They want you to fuck them harder! And they tease you about how you couldn’t resist their pussies.
Most scenes focus on the player losing levels from lustful sex with the demon girls. Meanwhile, Miru, the catgirl shopkeeper, deflowered my character and it was marked down in the sex stats menu. I wish she had a unique ending, but I’m fine with the sexy succubi getting the spotlight.
The dungeon bosses also offer sex scenes, but these can be viewed from the main menu gallery even if you defeat them. The in-game manual tells you how to cheat and unlock the full gallery if you’re only here for the porn.
From titfucks to blowjobs, from cowgirl to doggystyle, this game has a wide range of sexual content! With fantastic teasing in dialogue and huge creampies, these scenes are the highlight of the experience.
CONCLUDING WORDS
Drain Dungeon is a fun little hentai game that’s easy to pick up for hentai gamers of all stripes. While the story and gameplay are pretty basic, the succubus sex is hot stuff. The soundtrack has its issues, as does the lackluster audio. If you enjoy the artstyle, and you’re right now looking for a casual hentai gaming experience, this is the game for you.
