STORY

The voice cast for this episode did an amazing job. The male characters go from pathetic to sexually charged and frustrated while the female cast starts off smug and bitchy before being turned into mindless sex slaves.

MUSIC

Saint Slave Academy 2 uses synthetic instruments for its music. The soundtrack has a decent number of tracks that are expertly played throughout the episode. 

When the mood needs to be dark and sinister, the music will slow down. When we need to pick up the pace with lots of high octane sex, the music adjusts accordingly. The yelling of the characters throughout the scene serves as a good way of hiding when new songs start.

ANIMATION

The visuals are passable. Each of the main girls has a distinctive design with different breast sizes, ages, hair and eye color, so there is someone for everyone to fap to. The male characters are all throwaway in the looks department.

The studio takes a few shortcuts though. Certain scenes feature faceless characters. Close-up scenes are sometimes used to cover up the animators’ laziness when it comes to background art. 

The hentai features amazing shots during sex. The animation will speed up or down depending on the intensity of thrusts. The game is four hours long and the story is much simpler than its predecessor. Complete guild quests to either progress the story or strengthen your character. Very few games build up such an interesting premise. You can find erotic scenes in both the video game and the real world. Sadly, this never really goes anywhere. The real world is small and basic while the video game world is huge and enjoyable. It really feels like the developer wasted a great premise.

GAMEPLAY

Digital Princess Karin was created in RPG Maker MV. As usual, the switch from VX to MV led to a weaker product. However, the mouse functionality is appreciated.

Starting at level 1, players will kill monsters and complete quests to slowly grow in strength. The two features to mix things up are passive skills and class changes. Passive skills give boosts like an increase in attack power or defense, which may be swapped out at any time. Class changes allow players to use different weapons and focus on different stats like a mage emphasizing magic.

The problem is, the game is way too easy. I never felt a need to try the other classes! And sure clothing can be damaged and new classes can be unlocked, but none of that really matters when you always feel over-leveled. This game can be beaten without ever worrying about features beyond “attack” and “items”.

Classes level up separately from each other, so your level 20 swordsman is distinct from your level 1 bunnygirl. However, leveling up your other classes is easy since holding the CTRL key will skip through battles. And, your higher level class has probably got a lot of money for equipment that your weaker classes can use. But again, you never have a reason to change class in the first place.

Monsters drop sellable items instead of money. Each dungeon has an estimated level so you’re never in danger of wandering into trouble. The Battle City allows for easy level grinding and access to hyper strong weapons. Although this game has all the features of a great game, it’s way too easy. The low difficulty level makes it less engaging.

GRAPHICS

The art is drawn by a different artist than before! While the previous artist emphasizes consistent lighting, skillful shading, and knowledge of textures like wet clothing, this artist does not. Rather, the art in this game is a series of colored ovals, as if drawn by an amateur. As an indie release this would be fine, but this is the third game in the Princess series! What happened to the art quality?!

Another strange point to note is how the enemy sprites are so hyper-detailed while the protagonist is not. While the enemies are drawn to appear completely unique and well designed with their own memorable aspects, Karin herself is just some random chick with big boobs!

Each class has its own unique outfit. On one hand, this is fantastic since it changes your standing art. On the other hand, this is lame since it creates more work for the artist. They either have to redraw every scene for every outfit, or simply make Karin completely nude. They chose the latter, so almost every scene has Karin nude. And with all CGs repeating multiple times, the visuals get old fast.

All battles are icon encounters rather than random, meaning it’s possible to sidestep battles and enemies. The world map has guardsmen blocking off certain areas depending on your story progress. After a few hours of play, you’ll have to choose between visiting the Haunted House or Fairy Village. Beyond that, the world is your oyster.

Your clothes have their own HP bar to track how damaged they are. If they fall below 10% health, you will be sexually harassed. As a side note, the game is designed to encourage mouse usage with a menu access icon in the top right corner of the screen. The visuals are technically good, but the amateurish artworks remain a sour side to the experience.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Digital Princess Karin has no voice acting.

The sound effects in this game are stock assets and downright terrible. For example, when a guy pees inside of Karin, it sounds like a cup of water being filled at a kitchen sink. And the battle sound effects are the standard assets used in every other MV title. There is nothing worthy of praise here.

MUSIC

There are 97 tracks in total, the vast majority of which come from the MV stock library. Thankfully, a few of the tracks in this game are unique and enjoyable. The title music plays a big part in giving a good impression to the game with an emphasis on string instruments and small bits of piano in the background. And the world map music is fast-paced pure piano, which creates an upbeat tempo to compliment the techno effects that join in soon after. The music is much better than in the developer’s previous titles.

HENTAI

Digital Princess Karin has only 10 unique CG images. Oftentimes variations are passed off like new ones. For example, Saori’s scenes fucking tentacles is just the CG of her fucking goblins, but with the goblins removed. The developer cut corners and repeated CGs like crazy.

Getting fucked in your sleep or by some random homeless is supposed to be hot, but if you’ve seen the CG before, the freshness is lost. There’s a surprising amount of piss content in this game, which left me annoyed, because that could have been replaced with actual sex scenes.

There is no blood for deflowering scenes. While sex stats are available, you have no incentive to find all the scenes and raise them due to repeating CGs. Although the character classes have sexy outfits, only a handful like the bunny outfit are actually given unique sex scenes.

CONCLUDING WORDS

Digital Princess Karin is the classic case of a developer trying to follow up on their magnum opus. While the scenario is super interesting, the gameplay is too focused on the RPG elements. Although the sex scenes have good scenarios, there aren’t enough CGs to keep things fresh. In summary, the game ends up as a novelty rather than an incredible adult gaming experience.

The exploration segments are very basic. You spend most of your time in the second town, exploring the same dungeon over and over again. The lack of variety makes the world seem small and underdeveloped.

Although the title implies some form of slavery, you’re never shown a slave master or any type of work being done. In effect, you’re just some poor person. Without sexual slavery content, there really isn’t anything separating this title from similar games on the market.

GAMEPLAY

Slave Girl Reno was created with RPG Maker. Movement is controlled with your PC keyboard’s arrow keys. Press Z to interact with people and objects. There is no dialogue skip.

It’s a classic RPG grind fest. Kill enemies, return to town for healing, kill more enemies, buy new equipment, kill enemies, defeat bosses. It’s grindy, repetitive, and gets old fast.

All sex scenes are mandatory to progress. There is no virgin route. While this is expected of hentai games, I would have liked some consensual sex. Being forced into sex with noblemen becomes predictable over time.

The encounter rate is completely random. Sometimes you’ll walk long distances without facing enemies, while other times you can’t take a single step! Reno and Milo have different leveling rates, ensuring Reno is always significantly stronger than her partner. Speaking of, experience points are given easily, making for fast leveling without challenge.

The game can easily be beaten in two hours, but may take longer if you enjoy grinding levels to reduce difficulty.

GRAPHICS

The art is in Japanese anime style. Large eyes, gorgeous hair, curvy bodies, everything is typical to the anime style. A handful of scenes stray from this mold with strangely realistic looking characters.

Double penetration and pissing scenes appear out of nowhere without warning, not fitting the setting at all. It feels like the artworks were made before the game, like the developer didn’t have a good place to put those artworks.

Sex art doesn’t match the sprite art. Especially Reno is portrayed as a petite and shapely babe one moment, and an unattractive oval the next. Seriously, there is little consistency in visual presentation.

On the positive side, each weapon or attack has a unique animation. Some of these weapons have longer animations that made me regret using them, so I went back to quick sword slashes. Another positive is the cool presentation of the first town. It has a green tint and darkened color scheme. You can tell from a glance this game takes place in the sewers.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Slave Girl Reno has no voice acting.

From the moment you start the game, the sound design disappoints you. Ejaculation has a thunder and lightning sound effect that will blow out your ear drums. It’s absurd and random. Most of the game uses standard RPG Maker assets and conventions, but the moment the developer tries to be unique, it sounds horrible. A cumshot should not sound like a wind storm.

MUSIC

The soundtrack has 45 songs in total, the vast majority of which is never used. It’s like the developer copied the stock music from the RPG Maker Library, and pasted it directly inside of the game folder.

Generic music tracks are lame, but some of them were surprisingly good. The title music is a slowed down, bass-boosted variation of a well-known stock track. I enjoyed it, and actually stayed on the main menu to enjoy it.

All tracks are digitally synthesized with chimes and dings that don’t mimic any existing instruments. The lack of creativity stops the sound design from achieving greatness.

There are 15 sex scenes in total, each with a unique CG.

The sex scenes are random and vanilla. There’s blowjobs, vaginal, and some double penetration. There is no foreplay, dialogue, or buildup. I wish the girls at least talked dirty!

The more unusual scenes include tentacle sex and pissing in front of a stranger. This creates a small amount of variety, but I would still prefer sex scenes that tie into the plot. Porn games are loved for creating a story before the sex – where is the story here?

STORY

There is no overarching story. Hunt monsters so you can afford drugs and corrupt Claris. Then, possess her body and turn her into a whore! Due to her strong will, you cannot force Claris into sex immediately. Start by showing off her panties, then make her pee herself. Eventually you can convince her to have sex with strangers!

The game makes good use of foreshadowing, but it’s always hard to believe. You learn about a prisoner who wants a blowjob, and in under an hour of gameplay Claris is on her knees for him. The hint about the coming sex scene was nice, but it was way too easy to achieve. Although there are multiple endings, they all happen quickly without buildup, like being sold into sex slavery. Just lose a battle and you unlock the scene.

The writing in this game is painfully predictable. The lack of an overarching story makes the story very forgettable.

GAMEPLAY

Princess Knight Claris was created with RPG Maker VX Ace. Move with the arrow keys. Press A to view your text log. Press F1 to change your control scheme.

You start out at level 99 and work to lower your level over time. This kills any normal sense of progression, especially because the alchemy system in-game relies on killing strong monsters. As you level down, you can’t kill them anymore, which makes it easy to ruin your playthrough.

The sex stats are minimal, only tracking creampies. Combat is nonexistent because you cannot control Claris until the end of the game. The world map is big, but it’s not very interactive. For example, you cannot have sex with your teacher until you do more dungeon grinding. This kills all sense of flow and tension in favor of extending playtime.

The game is too open-ended for its own good. You’re given no clue where to find various alchemy ingredients, so you’re forced to walk around and grind through enemies in the dungeons. Use these ingredients to corrupt Claris with drugs. It’s not a very engaging experience. I prefer leveling up over leveling down.

The game can be completed as a virgin or a whore, though neither option is very satisfying. Yes, Claris is a bitch, but she doesn’t deserve to be sold into slavery. A lack of satisfying routes make this title a slog to play through.

GRAPHICS

The art is drawn in Japanese anime style. It comes across as typical and cookie cutter, especially the characters’ hairs and side-profiles.

Each base CG is used about 5 times. The different scenarios include pregnancy, body writing, being overcome with lust, and more. No matter the excuse, reusing the same CG five times is completely unacceptable. It seems like the developer was following a formula, rather than giving in to the spark of creation.

There are ten outfits in total from the schoolgirl to the bunny girl. You can enjoy a number of appearances for Claris. Sadly, this means that certain outfits don’t get much attention. I would have loved more scenes as a bunny girl, but was left unsatisfied.

The entire game is crafted with stock assets from RPG Maker, making for a visually dull experience. Even the icons on the world map are stock assets! A few unique visuals would have made this game much more engaging.

NPCs comment on your clothing choices, which is cool. This rarely has consequences, but it’s a nice little feature.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Princess Knight Claris has no voice acting.

The sex sound effects are absolutely unique while the combat sound effects are generic stock assets. This creates a weird mix, where game-like RPG sounds play right before a scene of vivid vaginal penetration. This kind of stuff doesn’t fit a cohesive theme or style, which make this a ‘hit or miss’ experience.

MUSIC

The soundtrack has 25 stock tracks from the RPG Maker library. Maybe one or two are unique, but it’s impossible to tell because their digitally synthesized style makes them blend in completely with the stock library. A drum beat with electric tones does not make for a great experience. These tracks are not memorable at all.

HENTAI

There are 20 base CGs, spread across over 100 scenes. The artworks get repetitive fast, and will be harder to enjoy over time.

Sex positions include footjobs, blowjobs, missionary, and reverse cowgirl. Erotic dialogue is usually lackluster or generic with Claris saying “woe is me” as she is possessed and starts taking in cocks left, right, and center. Public humiliation and corruption are the main featured fetishes of the game. Though you play as a ghost who controls Claris’ actions, they swap roles as narrator often.

There are a ton of pissing scenes, which feels like false advertising when you look at the store page. Worse, these scenes are mandatory to get Claris corrupted enough to actually have sex. Mandatory water-sports is not good for player experience, because it’s a nasty niche fetish. The same applies to drugs like cocaine, which are a central part of the gameplay. This game is advertised as a hentai game, but instead it’s all piss and drugs!

There were good ideas here, none of them well executed. A good example is the scene where Claris becomes a free use whore for all her classmates. This scene would have been incredibly hot if there was some kind of reputation system. The scene ends and doesn’t affect gameplay at all, making for a huge disappointment. You feel like your actions lack consequences.

CONCLUDING WORDS

Princess Knight Claris has an uncommon spin on the RPG genre, starting you at level 99, and making you level down to corrupt the female protagonist. The gameplay and artworks are repetitive, but the setup is novel enough to keep things interesting. The sexual content is almost all piss and drugs. The game also uses RPG Maker stock music and visual assets, but barring those flaws, it’s worth a playthrough.

As a visual novel game, dialogue and choices are the main focus of the experience. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Use the scroll wheel to view the text log. Click the screen to turn to the next page.

There are four choices in this game, each is predictable and similar. Who will you have sex with first? Who will you creampie first? Each choice will lead to a unique CG for that girl. Two playthroughs are necessary to see all content.

The main menu offers options and extras. You can rewind dialogue, jump to a specific story chapter, or review hentai artworks and scenes. You need to find the content first in order to access it in the menu.

GRAPHICS

The art is in Japanese anime style. There are only two fully illustrated characters, and they’re the two sexy ladies. There are 19 base CGs and over 200 in total. Each base CG has numerous variations for penetration, creampies, etc.

Character sprites are very well designed. They have clothed and nude variations, each with small animations to give them life. They sway from side to side, they blink every once in a while, and their voiced lines are synced to mouth animations. None of this changes the game a lot, but this attention to detail is amazing.

This game was created in the Renpy Visual Novel game engine, but has a unique user interface so you won’t even recognize it. Even the options menu has a scrolling function. This personalization of the game engine gives the title a professional vibe, even though this engine is known mostly for fan projects.

It’s the story of a high school boy who discovers he has the power to take over people’s bodies. Wanting to test his powers, he takes over the body of a female classmate and begins using her for sex.

STORY

After bumping into a female classmate, the protagonist learns he has the power to control people’s bodies. He can finally see what his classmates look like naked! Of course, that’s not enough to satisfy him. He begins abusing his powers on every girl he can find!

There are 25 unique bodies to take over and play as. Each girl has one or two lewd scenes for the player to enjoy. The plot is very linear, with no risk of anyone ever discovering your power – especially because the girls do not remember being possessed by a pervert with super powers.

Aside from the plot device magical power, the world is very normal and has a strong “slice of life” feeling to it. Go to school, walk home, talk to people. It’s all very approachable and easy to understand.

The dialogue comprises primarily of the character talking to himself, thinking about what he wants to do next. The monologue serves hints about how to push the story forward. From nurses to waitresses, there’s a large variety of scenes and scenarios to explore throughout the game.

Once the protagonist discovers the heights of sexual pleasure that a female body can achieve, he gets corrupted into a sex hungry slut. Apparently women’s bodies are designed for sex with multiple daily partners. Shocking!

GAMEPLAY

This game was created with RPG Maker. You move with the arrow keys and press the spacebar to interact with objects and people. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Press W to hide the dialogue box.

The game cycle is simple: go to a new location and body swap a new character, then watch a sexy cutscene play out and return home. This game is more a visual novel than an RPG.

There is a moderate sized world map to explore with 8 different locations to travel to. Unless the main story takes place there, you have no reason to return to old locations aside from sightseeing.

At the end of the game you lose your ability to roam free, and can only move about in the recollection room where old scenes are recorded. It’s better to just restart the game for the full experience.

While playing on the first two girls you body-swap, you can remove their clothing and roam the map freely with their tits out. There is no point to this mechanic, but hopefully it will be reused in a future title.

There is a meter for “courage points” that increase after every body swap, but they don’t seem to affect gameplay in the slightest. If you play this game and discover what they do, please comment on our site.

GRAPHICS

The art is anime style and overall generic. Although there is a world map to explore, all the locations are predictable and somewhat uninspired. There is a grassy mountain, a school hallway, and a small town.

It is very clear that the creator of this game simply downloaded assets commonly used in RPG Maker games, and pasted them into his world. There are no unique assets, except for the CG artwork in sex scenes.

While there are some generic NPCs, they have nothing interesting to say, and are only there to make the world seem more lively than it is. These characters don’t even move from their standing spots, as if they’re statues.

The standard gameplay is a yawn, but the sex scenes and their artwork elevates the experience to new heights. Especially the exhibitionist scenes are delicious. For example, there’s a part in the game where you go outside with a raincoat and nothing underneath! The body proportions and curves on the bishoujo are absolutely divine.

SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)

Doki Doki TranSEXperience has no voice acting.

All sound effects are stocks commonly used in RPG Maker games on the market. The sounds for opening a door, traveling to a different zone, the “sparkle” sound effect for body swaps, are all stocks. There are exactly six sounds throughout the entire game. If this is your first RPG Maker game, the effects may seem new and cool.

MUSIC

The soundtrack includes 9 songs taken directly from the RPG Maker Website. It’s very standard inoffensive music, and completely forgettable. Some music is better than no music at all, and at least the tune changes depending on what area of the map you travel to. For the circle’s first game, this is barely an acceptable product. For seven dollars you have the right to expect at least some original content.

HENTAI

There are 26 base CGs with about 35 event scenes in the game. The hentai scenes in this game cover a wide array of fetishes and kinks with awesome artwork. The game primarily focuses on the fetishes of body possession and feminization. Spoilers; the final scene of the game shows the protagonist is only comfortable and happy in the body of a woman. He transforms into a woman and lives out the rest of his days as a cum bucket for men!

The hentai scenes are simple visual novel style scenes with a still image and text describing the action. The scenes explore some very sexy scenarios with very hot girls. For example, you possess a girl who was about to meet her teacher on the rooftop. The teacher starts fingering you against your will! You take over the body of a popular celebrity and take your top off in front of everyone! Paparazzi take thousands of photos of her luscious body, and you just leave the body after starting a media frenzy!

Despite all the massive flaws of the game, the scenario is incredibly creative and deserves props for that. Imagine yourself taking over young women’s bodies, having sex, getting creampied by random men. Because the women can’t remember anything from the time they were possessed, once you leave the body with the evidence wiped from your pussy lips, the girls have no idea how and who impregnated them. Tens of hot girls are getting knocked up without even knowing it – what other game lets you do this?

Doki Doki TranSEXperience is the perfect game for lovers of body swap and feminization hentai. The lack of voice acting, unoriginal stock sound effects and music detract the quality somewhat, but aren’t game breaking. It’s a small indie game that can be completed in less than two hours. Starless is massive. Everything that studio Empress has produced afterwards has paled in comparison to this monolith of eroticism. The original Japanese release took five years to complete, and the uncensored English translation was another three years. But it’s finally here.Yukito Sawatari is a college student on summer vacation. He’s just gotten a car license but can’t afford a car. He’s looking for job openings from magazine ads, and finds one for a servant position in the Mamiya manor. He calls the number in the ad and lands himself an interview. Next day, he packs his bags and rides a taxi to the mountains, the location of the Mamiya residence.

Very soon after arriving at the manor, Sawatari’s job interview begins, and he is pushed to his sexual limits. His endurance, libido, the taste of his semen and the G-forces of his ejaculations are all tested. The three mistresses introduce themselves sexually in three exhausting back-to-back scenes, wringing him dry. And that’s just the start.

The dialog treats the reader like a punching bag. Near every sentence the Mamiyas spout is explosively sexual to an uncomfortable degree. The Mamiya women have no qualms talking about topics like orgasms, the joys of anal sex, prostate milking or problems with constipation.

The fetishization of bodily excretions is prevalent throughout the story. Sweat, piss, cum and poo are part of human life, and in Starless, they’re often part of the sex. While cum and piss sprays are plentiful, JAST USA recognized that logs of shit flying from asses would turn more people away than draw them in, thus they removed the shit, along with select bestiality scenes and couple of the more hardcore endings. These portions can all be restored with a fan-made patch – you can find the patch through VNDB.

The Mamiyas are filthy rich. Mistresses Marie, Marisa and Marika do nothing but fuck around all day every day. The entire story premise is built to enable a supply of sex scenes so vast they feel endless. Starless is pure porn, even as potential for a more serious story lie below the surface.

As customary for visual novels, the plot branches depending on your choices. The more eager you are to please a particular mistress, the more scenes you will have with her. Your relationship with the character will also tighten, which is reflected in the dialog. You can also romance the maids.

Personally, I played as a determined, never-surrender kind of guy. To every question about whether I’m planning to quit halfway, I answered a stern ”fuck no”. I also expressed fierce loyalty to Marie, the Mamiya clan head, I had lots of scenes with her.

Starless plays like a catalogue of fetishes. Each scenario starts out simple: For example, it can start with Sawatari receiving a blowjob, but then it escalates. Toys come to play, then sex drugs, then prostate massage. The poor boy’s testicles are milked to the very last drop in every scene involving him. The game doesn’t just test your sensibilities, it rams you with a stream of scenarios so extreme they shock and awe.

The story branches, but the narrative is linear. Every morning, Sawatari wakes up to the beeping of his alarm clock. There’s a day rhythm which is used to recycle images. For example, I had to dress lady Marisa and drink her piss every morning. Recycled scenes get short towards the end.

As an artist, Sei Shoujo has few inhibitions, but his definite preference for mature, experienced women is prevalent throughout the story. This shows in the choice of voice actresses, as none of the strong female characters sound like little girls. These are women, not girls.

The art is colorfully exquisite, although Sei Shoujo’s style places more emphasis on consistency than liveliness. His professional perfectionism shows in every single piece, and there’s no lack of heart evident. I enjoyed every bit of the visuals, but will admit, my preference is for art that’s more fluid and chaotic, like the oil-painted style of Littlewitch Romanesque.

The original Japanese audio censors the words ”dick” and ”pussy”, which are replaced with faint bleeps. I found this a little annoying. Soundtrack sets the mood well, but there aren’t many alternate tracks. Because I’ve striven to blog about every scene unlocked on my playthrough, I’ve listened the songs on hours-long loops. I’m still able to like most of them!
