This educational post delves into the topic of screenshots. My websites are based on Wordpress, which is a simplified site template with a quirky text editor. The editor is powerful and fairly understandable.
I’m writing this article for our young writers who are new to Wordpress.
About Wordpress
If you’re a newbie aspiring webmaster with limited capital, I recommend you start your own free Wordpress site. The reason I recommend Wordpress is because it’s much easier to rip an existing Wordpress theme and customize it for your purposes than code a website from scratch – it’s also much, much cheaper.
About Wordpress Text Editor
Hover your mouse to the upper corner of the page where it reads “+New”. Click that and click “Post”. You can also go to the left-side navigation where it reads “Posts”. Click “Add New”.
You can add images to your articles with the “Add Media” button. The button opens a view of your media library; all the images uploaded on my server are available from this screen.
Go to “Upload Files” and click “Select Files”. If you’re on a Windows computer, this will open your File Explorer – you should know your way around this one. Select any amount of images on your computer and click “open”. All the selected images will now be uploaded on my website’s server.
How To Take Screenshots
Look for the “Print Screen” button on your keyboard. The phrase is often abbreviated as “PrtSc” or similar. If you click the Windows button and the Print Screen button at the same time, you will instantly take a screenshot. The Windows button has the Windows logo on it, often located on the left side of the Spacebar.
Take your screenshots from playing perverted games. But before you start uploading the images on my server, convert them into JPEG or the JPG image format. The effect on image quality is often marginal.
Remember to crop the images in Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, or similar image editing program. Don’t leave any weird borders or crap around the images.
Screenshot File Size
Screenshots should optimally be 100-200kb (kilobytes).
Note that older hentai games made before year 2010 often play in a compatibility mode. Because of this, the default PNG screenshots can be 300kb or smaller.
If you’re on a modern computer playing the newest games, your screen could be 1920×1080, or even larger. The default size of your screenshots is 1mb (megabyte) or even 2mb. This is a problem, because when Hentaireviews becomes more popular, we may soon find ourselves in a situation where we have to upgrade to a premium server hosting plan. If we are hosting large images, our server costs will skyrocket.
Naming Your Screenshots
How the screenshots are named affects our search engine rankings. We can gain direct website visitors from people who use image search engines, like Google Image Search. When the screenshots are named properly, they are also easier to find in the Wordpress media library. You can include fetish tags (ie. blowjob, creampie, exhibitionism) in the screenshot names, but keep it to a minimum. Search engines don’t like keyword stuffing.
The screenshots should be named according to the following formula:
Game Name – Media Type – Developer Name – Screenshot – Number.
Examples:
Kamihime Project Hentai Game Developed by DMM Games Screenshot 1
Sakura Space Hentai Visual Novel Developed by Winged Cloud Screenshot 2
Desecration of Wings Hentai Game Developed by Sierra Lee Screenshot 3
Creating Image Galleries
You can create image galleries to showcase all the sexy content available in the game you reviewed. Click “Add Media” in the text editor, and click “Create Gallery”. Click on the images in the media library you wish to include in your gallery. This feature is amazing, and it’s in-built on every Wordpress site.
If you accidentally selected too many images, you can reset your selection by simply clicking the red “Clear” in the lower end of the screen.
Zip File Me The Screenshots
Ideally you have a good eye for good hentai, and can pick the best-looking screenshots from the bunch, and only upload 15 to 20 screenshots on my server for each new review. But just in case, use a free zip program to compress the file with the images, ie. Freearc, or 7zip and email me all your screenshots.
