STORY
The episode is separated into chapters. In the first, Leon and Ada make their way through a secret Umbrella base. They fight a couple of bad guys and arm a self-destruct mechanism. From there, Chris Redfield meets up with Barry at a military branch. After that, we find Jill and Rebecca at the mercy of Rachel.

The male cast has worse material to work with. None of the performances really stand out, except for Alexia who nails Gionne’s speech patterns.
The episode is packed with sound effects. Gun firing, bodies dropping, running, zombies waddling around, explosions, jeeps. It genuinely feels like no expense was spared to make sure this sounded like an authentic of a Resident Evil story.
MUSIC
I found almost every piece of music forgettable. You are acutely aware of it while watching, nothing ever stands out. The songs attempt different vibes. They feel as if lifted from a Resident Evil soundtrack, so that may score points with you, if you’re a fan. One track even sounds like it’s from the very early 2000s, like the original games.
Admittedly, music does fit the scenes they are used in. When the episode wants to build tension, it will include a slow, ominous track. When characters are fighting, the beat changes to a more action-packed one. The sex music is very generic.
ANIMATION
Sex Virus has subpar animation. We get a fight scene in the first half, but the characters have stilted movements that look like they belong on the PS1. The camera angles fail to hide that Leon isn’t really typing anything when he programs a wall control. Later when he is throwing punches, the actions are drawn out and lack fluidity and a sense of realism.
Sex is smoother but relies on looped animation filmed from a couple of different angles. You don’t get enough variety to really appreciate the scenes.
Female mod bodies have fake looking cocks that they stroke from time to time. The stroking motion is unrealistic and feels like it could have been done better. There is some clipping here, but it’s drowned out by the awful frame rate that leaves a lot of the episode looking fuzzy and pixelated.
HENTAI
There are four sex scenes in this episode. In the first, Rebecca and Rachel have sex. Then, Rebecca fucks Jill with her barely competent futa dick. The scenes are passable, but lack the dirty talk and taunting that make these kinds of scenes steamy.
In another scene, Ada and Gionne have Leon strapped to a table. Ada straddles him and rubs up against him while Gionne pounds Ada’s pussy.
