Have you ever wanted to capture wild creatures and battle against other trainers for money while collecting gym badges and becoming the league champion? Pokemon is for babies, it’s time for Pocket Gal Hunter!

STORY
Beat the gym leaders, collect the gym badges, and fight in the championship. Also, defeat the the criminal syndicate that steals gals to use them for nefarious ends.
Instead of throwing poké balls to capture things, you drink Viagra and fuck bitches into submission. Instead of Team Rocket, you battle Team Black. Instead of breeding monsters with each other, they have sex with you. Instead of repeating their names ad nauseam, the gals in this game speak proper American English.
The writing in this game is super cute. At the start you choose between a light or dark gal, then race your rival to get all the badges. Your starter gal will bond with you over time and eventually take you to their village. Your rival is hoping to recover their gal that was stolen by Team Black. In the light ending of the game, you have babies and settle down with your starter gal. It’s a really quirky experience.

GAMEPLAY
Pocket Gal Hunter was created with Wolf RPG Editor. Press W for the text log. Press S to ask your gal for advice. Press X to open the menu.
If you’ve played Pokemon, you know what to expect. There’s a pokédex database equivalent with 112 unique breeds for you to capture. You can’t get them in a single playthrough, so feel free to start another save with the other starter gal. Go beat the gym battles and explore the world. You’ll need abilities like “cut” to access some areas, just like in the Game Freak franchise.
You’ll be expected to have a team of level 80 fighters by the end of the game. Thankfully, there are exp-share items to help speed up your progress. All the staples of the Pokémon series are available, including EV values and TM items.
Thankfully, this game has many improvements on the formula. For example, you can prostitute your gals for money, or impregnate them yourself whenever you like. There’s also an NTR mod that allows you to fuck and steal the gals of other trainers!

GRAPHICS
The art is Japanese anime style. There are 30 base CGs and over 150 pixel animations.
While the gameplay and story was done by Pon’s Lab, the artwork in this game was done by SugarStar. The 30 base CGs have nearly 200 variation images. There are 12 pose artworks for other trainers, each with an alternate version of them undressed. And although there are 112 gals in the database, there are also clothing and color variations, similar to shiny pokémon. The volume of art in this game is simply incredible.
The CG artworks are reflected by the character sprites. When you beat and undress a trainer, their sprite appears naked to indicate your victory. Now you have a visual indicator that it’s safe to cross their line of sight without a battle occurring.
There’s battle animations for the hundreds of attacks available in-game! And the motorized scooter your character can ride all over town. Did I mention birth animations, custom interiors, battle cut-in images, and background images for wild encounters? You get the picture, the art in this game demonstrates a dedication to detail and finesse that made me seriously impressed.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Pocket Gal Hunter features moaning voice tracks for the sex scenes where you capture new gals. While the stock moaning tracks are not original, they provide a sense of action and consequence behind your decisions. Hearing a virgin gal moan for the first time is one of my greatest pleasures.
To fit the gameboy aesthetic, the sound effects in this game are 8-bit chimes and tones you’d expect from the original Game Freak games. While none of these sounds are realistic, they really emphasize the nostalgia and match the pixel art style. I absolutely adored every moment of the experience.
MUSIC
There are a handful of music tracks, all of which are produced to mimic the 8-bit style of the gameboy titles. Each track is digitally created while remaining well designed and enjoyable. For Pokémon fans, these original tracks will feel oddly nostalgic. I loved that feeling of exploring the world and catching them all, with a relaxed 8-bit music beat to match.
HENTAI
Pocket Gal Hunter features 30 fullscreen sex scenes and over 150 pixel animations.
The fullscreen CG images are related to important girls in your life. These include your childhood friend, the professor, and the gym leaders you’ve defeated. Meanwhile, the pixel animations are related to the gals you’ve captured. These include prostituting them, capturing them, and having sex with their evolved forms. There are also sexy cut-in images for certain attacks like twerking in battle.
Each gal has sex stats indicating their pregnancies and sexual encounters with you or other men. Like a pokemon game, you’ll have to create a second file to experience things with a different starter. In this game there’s the starters Elona or Amore. Each has multiple fullscreen sex scenes, so completing the gallery requires the second save file.
Every time you beat a gym you have the choice to fuck the gym leader or get a rare gal added to your party. This also makes 100% completion difficult. I recommend fucking the gym leaders on one save, and completing the database on the other save.
This game is often tagged as “NTR”, even though the content is completely optional prostitution. The NTR refers to three things. First is netori where you use the game mod to steal gals from other men. Second is netorase where you let another man impregnate your gal via prostitution. Third is netorare, where your childhood friend is fucked by Team Black.
Tomoe being fucked by Team Black was probably my favorite scenario in the game. While at first she hates their guts and resists them, as things progress she gives in to their advances more and more, until eventually she’s begging for their creampies! My childhood friend wanted to be a pocket gal master, but all she became was a cumslut!
CONCLUDING WORDS
Pocket Gal Hunter is the greatest waifu pokémon game on the market today. The gameplay is a solid ripoff, the best concepts are stolen, the bitches are hot, the impregnation is hot, the pixel animations are gorgeous. The huge amount of content is glorious.
