STORY
This developer is well known for unorthodox eroge that don’t go as expected, like The Promised Rosary, and this game is no different. Rather than playing directly as the blonde babe, you are actually controlling her body from your computer. From a gameplay perspective, things are unchanged. From a story perspective, this allows the main character to have a fully fleshed-out personality that goes around the classic problem of ludonarrative dissonance.
Ageha is the beautiful blonde who lies, cheats, steals, and fucks any guy she meets. You are basically controlling her life, giving her new experiences that will steer the direction of her future. If you introduce her to prostitution, when rehab is over, she’ll be a major whore. If you introduce her to honest labor and helping others, you’ll be showing her that being a good person is far more rewarding than the temporary enjoyment of doing as you like.
The story has another layer: Ageha is transported to a videogame RPG world. This allows her to become pregnant and fight battles without damaging her body in the real world. It’s like Sword Art Online, but well-written. The stories within this virtual world will affect who she is in reality on a deep and meaningful level.
Of course, you can ignore all of that and just play this for the comedy. The dialogue is hilarious, Ageha’s attitude is always sassy, and the characters in-game have plenty of tongue-in-cheek moments.
GAMEPLAY
The game is made in RPG Maker VX Ace, and follows a standard RPG format. Fight enemies, level up, earn currency, explore the world. Only problem is, the experience is very linear. This often makes you feel under-leveled in some sections and over-leveled in others, with very little recourse. A bit of tweaking to the balancing would make it a much smoother experience.
We get quality-of-life features like an in-game house where the player can change clothes and such, but the vast majority of the game is a standard RPG experience. Ageha is a blonde swordswoman, and that’s how she’s known by the NPCs as well. A neat detail is that the NPCs will talk about you differently as you complete more quests and prove your utility as a warrior. This is a great attention to detail that many erodevs in the current year fail to include.
GRAPHICS
There are 24 unique CG images, each with numerous variations. There are also variations to standing art in order to reflect outfit damage, facial expressions, and pregnancy state. Naturally, each outfit has a variation for Ageha’s pregnant belly, assuming you go for a lewd playthrough. The only downside is that during a pure playthrough, you’ll only be wearing the school uniform for the duration.
The setup lends itself to great visuals. As a public rehabilitation program, everyone in Japan can see Ageha’s adventures in the RPG world. Whether it’s housewives, otakus, or your own classmates, they all see her! There are often numerous CGs with jumbotron flatscreens for crowds of people to watch Ageha’s battles. Will they watch her get creampied? Will they watch her cut down her opponents? The dialogue will reflect the choices of your playthrough.
The inconsistency of the artwork shows that this is one of the developer’s early titles. Facial expressions are drawn with such care, while other details fall to the wayside. For example, the heads of goblins just look like green circles. And although Ageha’s hair is gorgeous, the pubes of the guy fucking her are literally scribbles. From scene to scene, the art is inconsistent.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Unruly Girl Rehabilitation Program has minimal voice acting. Ageha does not have fully voiced lines, but she does have battle grunts and makes other noises to convey her movements.
The sound effects are all pulled from the stock RPG Maker library. Now, you have to remember that this game is nearly ten years old and maybe older at the time you’re reading this. Although the sound effects may annoy RPG Maker veterans, I found them to be well-used and enjoyable. Maybe your experience will be different.
MUSIC
The upbeat techno-rock track used on the title menu makes a good first impression, but the majority of the game pulls stocks from the RPG Maker library. In spite of that, my experience was not hindered by my familiarity with the music. Rather, the game lampshades the generic RPG music with the premise that Ageha is placed in a virtual world as part of her therapy. It’s very self-aware, which makes it more acceptable in my view.
HENTAI
In spite of having 24 unique CGs, I only found a handful compelling. The prostitution scenes in the red bunny outfit and the doctor’s visit with Ageha’s legs spread, those are two of the best scenarios available. The idea that Ageha’s pussy is being seen by everyone who is viewing her rehabilitation program is very erotic. Her shocked expression and blushing face make many scenes undeniably sexy so long as you don’t skip through the dialogue.
The artist obviously prefers tits over ass, and that’s okay, but in the current year, I’d say the majority of players would prefer more doggystyle and other booty-focused content. That’s my vibe from reading hentai forums.
Although there is one goblin sex scene, there isn’t exactly a lot of monster sex. If you prefer fantasy RPGs, hoping for orcs and tentacles, you’re going to be disappointed. This game is pretty vanilla overall. In fact, if you didn’t play the actual game, you might guess the setup of these CGs being the opposite of what’s really going on.
The lack of animations and emphasis on big tits may be a downside to some, but I found the scenes to be sexy and well worth viewing regardless.

Unruly Girl Rehabilitation Program, despite its age, is one of the best RPGs on DLSite today. Its unorthodox premise and sassy protagonist are a clear departure from the standard shy virgin archetype taht a lot of games go for.
