STORY
Ota is returning home from buying a new manga when he bumps into his neighbor Edel. She is an idol that strongly resembles the character in his manga. She notices this and gets all up in his face about how disgusting he is. The moment comes across as her being a Karen looking to start up shit.
Before things can escalate, Kirara, another neighbor/idol who looks like another character in Ota’s books shows up. But instead of being mad, she is fascinated by his otaku lifestyle. She asks about some anime and invites herself inside where she is NOT disgusted by how messy his apartment is. She does freak out when she finds a dirty book which Ota was masturbating to.
Ota then remembers how Kirara and Edel’s comic book lookalikes are masochists who were trained to be human sextoys, so he whips out his dick and has his way with Kirara who protests at first before instantly falling in love with his dick. Together, they surprise Edel at a streaming event where Ota fucks her on-camera and much to his surprise, Edel falls in love him too.
Now that Ota has two human sextoys, the rest of the game doesn’t matter. The ‘plot’ falls away and exists solely to set up new ways to degrade and humiliate the girls. Ota pierces their nipples, he cums and pees in food bowels and makes them drink it like animals. At one point he takes them to a convention, dressed up in cosplay where he fucks them. Basically, if you’re an incel, you’ll love this game. At no point does Ota even fall in love. He maintains that Edel and Kirara are his sextoys and they should never forget it.

GRAPHICS
I can’t complain about the graphics. We’ve got Kirara and Edel rocking seriously stunning designs. And yes, those designs are top-notch eye-candy. We’re talking the classic combo of big boobs and skimpy outfits. These character sprites got a couple of poses to strut, along with a handful of expressions to match the mood. Their lips move during dialogue, giving it that extra touch. The sprites switch up outfits – casual, birthday suit, and even some cosplay action.
On the backdrop side, the art is super detailed, especially the backgrounds. But let’s be real, they’re kinda meh when you put them next to the characters. There’s a few fresh backgrounds here and there – stuff like apartment buildings, Ota’s apartment, a studio, and even a convention scene. Although, some BGs, like the studio and the convention hall only show up once. It felt like a missed opportunity.
MUSIC
The music is best characterized by synthetic compositions, which have their strengths and weaknesses. While the soundtrack contains a decent number of songs, most fall short in terms of alignment with onscreen action. This issue plagued my session for the majority of the playthrough.
Not only that, but none of the songs manage to truly stand out and capture my attention. Over time, the music’s repetitiveness caused it to blend together, lacking the distinctiveness that enhances the overall experience. Sex scenes are the exception however, with high-octane music injecting energy and suiting the intensity of the moments. Despite this highlight, the general issue of music not fitting the action remains. It doesn’t help that every song feels like I’ve heard it play in a different Norn/Miel title multiple times before.
GAMEPLAY
Gyarus Gone Wild is a kinetic novel game. Keeping things basic on the functionality side of things. Don’t expect a twisting tale – there’s no branching story here. You’re on a one-track ride, leading to a single ending. There is one choice that pops up, but it’s like a non-choice, since it doesn’t change anything.
The game’s got plenty of save slots for you to use. Not sure what for though. There’s a Gallery mode too, where you can check out those stunning CGs you unlocked. Plus, if you’ve got favorite scenes that you want to relive, the Chapter mode’s got you covered for replaying them. Let’s not forget the good stuff – the H-scenes. You’ve got a special mode to replay those steamy moments, because why not, right? But here’s where things get interesting – the Scene Studio. You can actually customize scenes to make ’em your own. So, yeah, it’s not just read and done – there’s a bit of creative play you can get into.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
The game provides voice over for Kirara and Edel. The actresses pack a lot of passion, but don’t always got the best lines to work with. When it comes to the steamy scenes, brace yourself – those two manage to sound incredibly lewd. During the intimate moments, Kirara and Edel make sure you don’t forget you’re in an adult game. I just really wish the script gave them more to do than say ‘yes master, fuck my pussy’.
On the effects front, the library’s a bit on the small side. You’ve got your basic stuff like slapping, squelching, thrusting – you know, all the usual suspects. Plus, they’ve thrown in sounds like water pouring for good measure. There’s some pissing and cumming too, but all of it sounds like recycled porn sound effects from the same library.
HENTAI
The game’s sex caters to objectifying women in the worst possible way. It’s not a case of everyone gets to have fun and be satisfied; women exist to be cock sleeves with no fun in-between. While the sex sticks to Miel’s usual formula of fucking girls into submission before topping everything off with a pregnant orgy, the sex here feels mean-spirited given that Ota doesn’t simply treat Kirara and Edel as disposable objects, he verbally delights in treating them like garbage, crossing the hentai line, in my opinion.
The first two sex scenes were the most uncomfortable to get through for me, given how Ota comes onto both characters. From there, the sex varies, often treading the line of normal Miel delinquency and veering into torture, which made my pussy as dry as the Sahara.
Dialogue in every scene mirrors what you’ve come to expect from Miel titles, coupled with stunning visuals that will make your cock envious of Ota. The sexual themes here include domination, public humiliation and extreme degradation. You can also throw in some pregnancy fetishes too. This is Miel we’re talking about. Basically, if you don’t mind really hardcore stuff, you’re in for a treat.
CONCLUDING WORDS
It’s a paint by the numbers title featuring everything you’ve come to expect from this developer. But much like Hentai Heaven, the narrative leans too closely into being mean-spirited for my tastes. This is a polarizing title that you’re free to enjoy, but it’s definitely not for everyone. If the scenario ticks the boxes for you, go for it, enjoy to your heart’s content.
