STORY

This visual novel is the source material for that one anime I reviewed. The game is far superior, it corrects many of the problems with the anime. For one thing, anime Yamada was nothing but a weak crybaby who complained about nurses being upset that they had to milk his cock. Here, Yamada is shown to be living in an utter nightmare. He wants to escape and get as far away as he can.
Another issue I had with the anime was how the nurses never actually did anything bad to Yamada, save call him names. Here, they verbally abuse him every chance they get. They make him take part in sick games like being serviced by the cute store clerk or endure taking the virginity of the only good, kind nurse at the hospital. In some scenes, Yamada is systemically turned into a pet by one of the nurses who feigns kindness. He is gas lit and manipulated in order to make him obedient.
Perhaps the best change is the devotion to showing character growth in some of the nurses; Tachibana especially. She doesnโt get a lot of time to shine, but there is a clear change and evolution to her character and she isnโt the only one. JAST USA video:
GRAPHICS
Nope Nope Nope Nurses is all about its main ladies. Each “love interest” and even some side characters have sprites that are drawn with a distinct touch of allure. The nursesโ designs effortlessly show off cruel lewdness with their sexiness. Some characters share common features, but each have their own unique designs, with different hairstyles, eye colors, bust sizes and varying heights.
The characters have one pose, but plenty of terrifying expressions. The artwork shows great attention to detail. Thin lines are mixed with light shadows to add depth. The color palette further boosts the game’s visual appeal by rendering sprites in faded, subtle hues. This is juxtaposed against the vibrant colors of the background artworks.
CGs have variations for cock placement, cum and facial expressions. There are more than 20 CGs to unlock and they all look stellar. Clever camera techniques include periodically zooming in. Other times, the background will blur to make players focus on the main girl.
The background artwork is equally as impressive. They showcase amazing attention to detail, rich with features that breathe life into this fucked up hospital world. The game has day and night variations for artwork. Backdrops pop against the characters in the foreground.
MUSIC
The developers really nailed the music with this one, giving us an auditory treat that amps up the entire experience. The game uses mostly original pieces, throwing in a mix of instruments like guitars, pianos, and a whole bunch of keyboard action. Thereโs also some haunting wind instruments to add an eerie vibe.
What’s nice though is the variety in the tracks. Most of them are on the ominous side, perfectly setting the mood for a world of dark and twisted nurses. The music is synced with the onscreen action. You can practically feel the tension in the air thanks to the music subtly reflecting whatโs happening.
The gameโs music does loop, but itโs so seamless that you barely notice it’s happening. It’s like a continuous soundtrack to your adventures, and it never gets annoying or intrusive. The song selection is spot-on. Nope Nope Nope Nurses goes heavy on the dark, horror, and ominous tracks, creating a spine-chilling atmosphere. There is also a handful of soft or silly tunes.
GAMEPLAY
Nope Nope Nope Nurses is a kinetic novel game. By clicking the screen, you advance the story. This title has no branching storylines and adopts a singular narrative. There are no choices. The developers did incorporate some little add-ons to the customization options like choosing which character gets to speak and who shuts up.
Other features to enjoy include the Illustrations Mode, which lets players masturbate to their favorite CGs. The Memories Mode allows you to revisit your favorite moments with these demented nurses.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
The game features voice overs for every main girl. Thatโs almost a dozen characters. The girls all have wildly distinctive personalities. The voice acting helps bring out these traits, which is made easier with a good script. The actresses expertly portray the unique personalities, making each character memorable. The line delivery is excellent. The voice actresses demonstrate their skill by conveying the sadistic nature of their characters while also balancing it with softer, intimate moments. Even the worst characters have moments where they will surprise you.
The sound effects library isnโt too big, but itโs big enough to take advantage of all the opportunities such as doors opening/closing, footsteps, rustling noises, piss, spanking etc. The sex sounds also manage to be fun to listen to, with a variety of different squelching and thrusting and cumming noises.
HENTAI
Fans of domination will definitely get a kick out of this. The sex is both long and filled with abusive dirty talk to get those sub dicks nice and hard. The woman you have to thank for that is Numajiri, a cruel nurse who has no problems making Yamada sit on her lap while she gives him a handjob. Sheโs one cutthroat bitch. I loved watching her work.
