Created with RPG maker, this hentai game is one of the best digital erotic experiences I’ve had. Meltys Quest features tons of sex scenes, gorgeously sexy characters, and many kinks to explore.

STORY

Meltys is the youngest princess in the kingdom. She lives a privileged life dominated by parties, and royal orgies. Her main hobby is tanning her skin to resemble the colour of leather. She’s the spoiled brat of the family. Everyone around her has pampered her since birth, so that in her adult age, she’s completely useless. The only reason she doesn’t get mysteriously assassinated, is her endearing personality.

Meltys’ carefree lifestyle ends abruptly when Grolido Monster Empire invades the kingdom. They destroy her home, beat up her butler, kidnap her three sisters and turn them into sex slaves. Without anyone to rely on, Meltys takes it upon herself to rescue her family and restore her kingdom to glory, with blessings from her old father. The game is light-hearted and humorous.

In the first act, Meltys explores areas near her kingdom. After getting a set of adventuring clothes and a cheap sword, she sets off to the Grolido Monster Empire. With no sense of danger, she decides to just waltz into a quarry populated by stinky, thong-wearing goblins. After clearing the area, Meltys encounters the boss of the dungeon, a female goblin wearing a nurse’s outfit.

But before a battle can take place, one of Meltys’ sisters appears before her, now completely mind-fucked into a minion of the Monster Empire. After some brief exposition that explains how she succumbed to her sexual slavery, Meltys vows to save them all, no matter what.

This is the basic formula for each area in the game. I didn’t have problem with the repetition. I like the bare-bones approach, because things are kept simple while still being interactive. There are some small puzzles you encounter, but areas are usually linear and easy to clear. More of the story, and why the Monster Empire invaded, is revealed as Meltys banters with her siblings.

The story might seem predictable but it has a very interesting plot twist that involves incest. Further into the game, you get flashback sequences to learn more about Meltys’ past and her relationship with her family. Similarly, quests can seem predictable at first, but their outcomes are some of the most imaginative shit I’ve ever encountered.

There’s a quest which has Meltys acting as a nun. She occupies a confession booth, listening to the woes of the townsfolk. A sister-loving pervert enters the booth and airs his dirty laundry. Being the helpful soul that she is, Meltys quenches his siscon lusts, with an impromptu deepthroat, ending in a sloppy oral creampie – from her days as a princess, Meltys has gotten plenty of practice in the art of cocksucking. Character sprites are adorable and detailed. There are over 50 CGs to feast your eyes upon, all drawn by the same artist. The men are average-looking, white the women are gorgeous anime fuckdolls. The game’s colour palette includes some striking colours. The coloring style fits the absurd writing. Nothing looks dull, or flat. Characters have shine effects on their bodies, which emphasizes the shape of their boobs, and butts. As fap fuel goes, Meltys is filled with voluptuous women, always looking oiled up, ready for sexytime. Background art is simple, and follows the general look of the area Meltys is roaming. For example, when Meltys and a slime girl eat each other out in a field, the background is entirely green with tufts of grass.

The light shadows outline the bodies of the characters. They are less visible in CGs depicting outside areas, but easier to notice in confined spaces. When Meltys acts as a nun in a confession booth, the shadows behind her emphasize the smallness of the booth, and her forward-leaning posture.

MUSIC

Most of the music in Meltys Quest is electronic, played with a synthesizer. Some tracks are harsh on the ears, like the music when you enter grassy plains, but those are rare. Most songs sound decent, and for an RPG maker game, it could have been worse. Battles sound suitably epic, heavy on the guitars and drums.

The tracks that lack electronic music are kind of overbearing, with standout instruments like cymbals and snare drums. The non-electronic tracks remind me of anthems played by marching bands. The opening theme song is one example of this.

Sex scene music is a mix of synthesized instruments and violins. They set a sultry tone, that’s pleasant enough that it doesn’t get repetitive whenever Meltys is blowing dicks, or getting her tight pussy pounded to orgasm.

SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)

There isn’t much voice acting in the game. Story scenes with dialog have no voice. The sex scenes only feature moans, grunts, and the sloppy sounds of a dick, or finger going in and out of Meltys dripping-wet pussy. They mostly use the same sounds for hentai scenes, but there are slight variations depending on the scenario. When Meltys gets gangbanged, her moans sound more intense. The sound she makes after facials from multiple dudes, is sexy enough to be illegal.

During battles, the game blows out generic sound effects for various special attacks. Sexual attacks make a weird slimy effect that plays every time they’re used. There are also minor sounds for actions like picking up objects, going into the menu, entering a home, and so on. The only downside is that these sounds quickly wear out their welcome.

GAMEPLAY

Meltys Quest is part RPG, part visual novel. The hentai scenes are in visual novel style: You got a static porn image, and the action described in text. Click the textbox to “turn the page”. In rare occasions you’re given branching choices in the dialogue.

Majority of the game time, you control Meltys’ sprite, traveling through towns and dungeons. You can move with arrow keys, or a mouse: Very useful for fappers who prefer playing with one hand!

Battles are turn-based, meaning you and your enemy take turns attacking. On easy mode, enemies are push-overs, allowing you to concentrate more on the ‘plot’. Bosses can be slightly challenging if you’re under leveled and take a little more effort to defeat. I found the battling to be a fun time waster, its decent enough and isn’t a total drag.

One mechanic in Meltys Quest that is really impressive, is the ability to gain abilities from outfits. If you earn enough experience while wearing an outfit, you gain a special skill. For example, the succubus suit grants you a skill called Dark Saber. Using this skill lowers an enemy’s attack power. Some outfits also grant special slut skills, like a set of lingerie called the Babydoll Nighties. By activating this special skill, Meltys will get pregnant after her next creampie. With many different abilities to unlock, the game makes gathering different outfits fun.

HENTAI

There is enough hentai in this game to make even celibate dudes bust a nut. When controlling Meltys, you can either roleplay her as a boring virgin, or push her into becoming a total cumslut who spreads her legs for anyone.
