STORY

As far as free-to-play hentai games go, I think Pleasure Inc has done a good job in establishing a decently interesting story. The premise of the game promises the player a fair bit of excitement, and I’m pleased to report that it manages to deliver nicely on the sizzling eroticism and espionage undertones. Considering how the game is set in the nineties, this set-up fits the setting perfectly.

Since Pleasure Inc is a management clicker at it’s core, don’t go expecting story-telling on the level of a visual novel. The game’s plot is entirely told through character conversations, which you can unlock with in-game currency as you progress. Even then, the writing is focused on the interactions of the characters rather than the plot itself. Luckily for us, these conversations are witty and well-written.

Aside from small snatches of game plot, you also get to learn about the various women you meet through your sex toy business. They differ vastly in personalities, verbal tics and kinks, and the conversations definitely show it! Your sex-android, for example, talks in a sweet southern accent. On the other hand, the character that is an unsatisfied housewife speaks with all the hallmarks of a snobbish, upper-class woman. With plenty of conversations that feature heavy flirting and hints of sexual frustration, you’d have plenty of incentive to progress in the game.

GRAPHICS

Pleasure Inc uses a distinct cartoon art style, with several character designs that seem to draw inspiration from comics. However, it definitely embraces more of the cartoon aspect to fit with the in-game graphics. If the word ‘cartoon’ makes your dick go limp, don’t worry. The general art direction of the game is still heavily erotic. Realism isn’t the goal here. The women in the game remain splendidly sexy while being dressed to the nines.

Take for example your assistant, Bella Bottoms. True to her nature as a sex android, her outfit is awfully skimpy. Her skinny white tank top shows off the impressive swell of her rack and her magnificent thighs. However, the faint outlines which shows where her body is put together clearly mark her as a non-human.

Something that might disappoint players is the fact that Pleasure Inc’s in-game graphics aren’t as impressive as its character art. When you first boot up the game, it becomes clear much of budget is heavily geared towards the erotic aspects. But while the graphics are merely decent, what’s great is that the game’s interface is easy to understand and navigate.

The UI remains the same on both android and PC versions, making it easier for the player. While the icons on the screen are not labelled with text, the symbols used to mark their functions are pretty straightforward to understand. Plus, the game’s tutorial is fairly in depth. If you’ve played any sort of games before, it should be a cinch to get a hang of it.

GAMEPLAY

Pleasure Inc takes the fun of a clicker and meshes it with the shallow, but addictive aspects of a management sim game. What that means is that while it’s necessary to juggle multiple game mechanics at once, it never gets too overwhelming. When starting out, new players will get a basic tutorial of how to play, and how they can progress.  

The most common form of in-game currency you’ll be using is coins, which can be earned just mere moments of starting the game. You start out with one factory to produce an item, along with a shop that can sell it. Your shop can passively produce a certain number of coins, and you can supplement it by fulfilling the shop’s orders. Given that it’s a free-to-play game, players are required to wait for a timer to run down before they can collect those sweet, sweet coins from either method.  

The next resource slash currency is hearts. You can’t earn them via shops, but by completing daily tasks. Though the number of hearts you earn through this method might seem pitifully small, you can also receive some generous rewards after completing a certain number of those tasks. The rewards usually include more hearts, as well as coins. Hearts are extremely valuable since you need them to progress in conversations with the varied selection of hot babes.

Speaking of getting down and dirty with a pussy, you’d also need power cells to do that. Power cells deplete each time you chat with the gal of your choice. Like coins you can wait for them to be replenish, or simply purchase them with rocket cola.

Like hearts, Rocket cola can’t be earned from your shops. You can get them by completing daily tasks or purchasing them with Nutaku Gold, which costs real money. Rocket cola can basically be used in place of hearts, and it’s also what you use to purchase power cells. They can also be used to get rid of a countdown. A sort of universal in-game currency, if you will.

Fortunately, the game is quite generous with doling out rocket colas and currencies in general, so unless you want to progress the game at a faster pace, it’s simple enough to hoard them for those rare moments you can’t wait to unlock something. The good news is that Pleasure Inc is fairly balanced. You can enjoy the game without spending real cash, and you’re not aggressively paywalled even after you’ve made significant progress. It keeps players coming back for more, which is a win in my book!

HENTAI

Pleasure Inc promises a whole lot of naughty fun, and that’s precisely what you get. Once you’ve followed the game’s instructions and restarted your initial playthrough for Prestige Points, the road to unlocking awesome character lewds becomes much easier.

As you get closer to your female character of choice, the flirtier and more suggestive they tend to get. Pleasure Inc doesn’t have much music to speak of. It has a decent, if repetitive EDM track that plays during the entire game. It sounds heavily inspired by the old pop songs of the nineties, keeping in line with the game’s aesthetic. The track features a playful synth, with a rather catchy bass tune in the background.
