STORY
The plot for the episode is split on two. In the first half, we encounter a nameless ‘hot springs’ journalist trudging through the snow in search of a random hot spring. We’re not told why he’s searching in a snowstorm or what is so special about it. He finds it and happens upon two nameless girls. Let’s just call them Blonde and Purple. The two of them are horny and he is alive, so they come on to him, fuck him senseless, end of story.
In the second part we meet Kario, a thirty-something woman who is depressed about not being married yet. She drinks away her problems and meets Joduo from work. He gets her drunk, takes her to a love hotel and makes a real woman out of her.
The writing for the hentai is abysmal. The plot lines are unconnected and all over the place. Several characters lack names and only exist as porn bodies.
ANIMATION
The animation style makes the faces look twenty years older and gives the characters milfy bodies. Every female character has the same sexy, plump body. Blonde and Purple even have similar facial designs.
The animation department took several corners when it comes to moving characters. Movements are either slow and stilted or the camera simply pans up and down, or right to left, showing the bare minimum like lips. Breasts barely bounce but look very gropable. In the first half, the screen has snow falling but it only highlights how little movement there is for the characters. The above problems are present in the second half as well, but not to the same degree.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
The voice acting is meh. Blonde and Purple are not given much to work with, but succeed in sounding like someone is pounding their cunts in the recording booth. Hot Springs Guy’s actor tries very hard to give funny reactions to the insanity he is thrown in but his delivery falls flat.
Kario and Jodou played more convincingly with plenty of humor that delivers and plenty of sexy grunts when they fuck. The pair is definitely the stronger of the two groups.
There are plenty of sound effects like water rushing, cold air blowing, touching and groping. In the second half you can hear lots of abstract comedy sounds. Both segments feature the usual pussy squelching and dick thrusting noises that you are accustomed to in hentai.
MUSIC
The title uses a combination of instruments like the guitar, piano, xylophone and traditional Japanese drums, as well as synthetic instruments. The soundtrack is all over the place, full of unusual choices.
During sex, a weird dubstep track plays that fits the events, but feels out of place when the next track is an electric guitar or a slow playing piano.
The music improves in the second half of the story with a more traditional anime rom-com selection of tracks. Songs range from vibrant and upbeat to slow and sensual.
HENTAI
The episode features sex heavily in both parts. The first half is pure masturbation material while the second half focuses more on intimacy, thus engaging you emotionally as well. The looped sex animation is very noticeable. Movements sometimes feel stiff and slow. The camera angles sometimes make the girls look sexier than they are.
Sex feels very vanilla. You can practically predict the next act or position. There is no creativity to fap to. Hot Springs Journalist tries to hang several lamps on the typical tropes he is experiencing but none of them are funny. The combination of steam and censorship makes it hard to appreciate how sexy the blowjob is that he is receiving.
Kario’s adventure is equally boring. She looks and sounds cute when she’s having sex for the first time, but beyond a moment’s hesitation, she takes to being a slut like a fish to water. The sexual positions are bland. I didn’t feel a hint of arousal watching Kario experience womanhood. I did however find it super adorable that she and Jodou held hands while he was thrusting into her.
CONCLUDING WORDS
This hentai is designed for a simple, uncomplicated faps. The girls are slutty with big fat tits and lewd personalities. The voices are cute and the visuals are passable but the sex is basic tier with no heart or soul. Rub one out if you have nothing else to watch.
