STORY
The story is more of a pretext to meet new people for the goblin to fuck. First, the goblin is facing execution and asks for a blowjob before his death. Then he is left alone with a girl, possibly you, and tries to convince you to fuck him. Then you meet new ladies who are vulnerable to the allure of goblin cock, and have the choice to watch or not.
There are five endings in total. There’s a harem ending, a zero corruption ending, and a variety in between. My favorite is obviously goblin impregnation, but that’s mainly for the sake of the taboo. Although the game lacks an overall plot, the writing in general is done in such a compelling way, I find myself replaying it on an almost monthly basis.
For example, your sister can discover you’re having sex with a goblin. And it’s not just played off for the humiliation fetish or something! You have a genuine conversation with her about the topic, with a mixture of shame, but also shamelessness. As I said, the writing is compelling and very enjoyable despite the generally directionless plot. The one caveat I’ll mention is that the author is clearly foreign, as there are numerous grammatical errors. Video:
GAMEPLAY
The Goblin’s Brides was created in the Renpy visual novel engine. This allows you to auto-progress text or manually click to set the pace and make choices. These choices determine who, if anyone, will fuck the goblin. This progresses towards potential pregnancy so be careful what you wish for!
GRAPHICS
The graphics in this game are gorgeous! Each 3D character model is lovingly crafted and dressed in beautiful clothing that perfectly matches the medieval aesthetic. With so many women and so many sexy bodies to ogle, this game offers a wealth of replay value for the visuals alone.
Animated sex occurs during the harem ending, but is not consistently present in all scenes. That doesn’t matter though, because even with still images, the characters are so expressive and realistic that the game is incredibly immersive regardless.
The goblin is one ugly little shit, but that’s what makes it hot! Let’s be honest, the goblin fetish is just an extension of the ugly bastard scenario. So the dichotomy of such an ugly creature getting to bed with such gorgeous nubile women is undeniably erotic! There are no other games that hit the nail on the head with the beauty contrast, in the way that Goblin Brides does.
My only complaint is that the focus on realism means that the pregnancy happens without ever seeing sperm meet the egg like you would in a hentai game. While it’s more realistic, it also leaves the time of conception relatively unclear.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
The Goblin’s Brides features no voice acting.
There are few, if any, sound effects throughout the majority of the game. While sound effects are present for specific story events, it is not a primary focus of the experience.
MUSIC
While there is music on the title screen, the vast majority of the game relies on atmospheric tracks like chirping birds and ocean waves. In that respect, the game is quiet, but it also often takes place in the forest, so that makes sense. Frankly, I prefer the silent approach with only occasional sounds like moaning and doorknocking. It adds more impact to the limited use of sound effects.
HENTAI
The three primary fetishes of this game are obviously goblin sex, creampies, and potential impregnation. The character Morgana is a virgin who can be deflowered, but every other character is not.
When it comes to writing, this game gets everything right. Like when Nax the goblin says “You’re mine!” right as he kisses you. Or when the author gives descriptions of the goblin emptying his balls inside of you. There’s also the proud sorceress and the dignified elf lady, both can be creampied, but it’s the impregnation content that’s the best.
