After a massive coup d’état in the Demon Kingdom, Nacht is forced to use all of her magic to reverse time. The problem is, using her magic has made her weak and vulnerable! Will Nacht be able to stay in power as the demon king, or will she be corrupted by horny men?

STORY

When an assassination attempt on Nacht nearly succeeds, she is forced to reverse time and make things right. Throughout the game, you’ll be confronted with bandits and other criminals as you gradually try to restore your magic power to normal. At the climax of the game, Nacht is given the choice to submit to a powerful enemy or to stand tall.

This game has a comedy focus, but also manages to balance other themes like erotic corruption and true friendship. Admittedly, I found the good ending to be super sweet, it made me smile from ear to ear. However, the bad endings where Nacht becomes a cum dumpster made my dick smile even harder.

It’s mostly a kinetic novel. The whole experience is only a half-hour at most, if you avoid all the erotic content. That’s the one core flaw of the game, I wish it was much longer!

GAMEPLAY

Created in RPG Maker MV. Click with your mouse to move, or use the arrow keys in tight spaces. There are no level-ups or other traditional RPG mechanics.

All erotic scenes are made available upon completing the game, so the half-hour virgin route is viable. However, that would rob you of the core experience. Assuming that Nacht gets fucked by one of her many enemies, you get to continue, rather than getting a simple fade to black and ‘game over’. This title focuses on public humiliation. You can access the internet and see Nacht’s photos leaked, and you can voluntarily go to get fucked again, or you can escape from hardship and continue with your quest.

In other words, the central focus is the consequences of Nacht having sex with her enemies. Simply watching a scene replay does not properly convey the buildup to the raunchiness!

GRAPHICS

There are 46 scenes in total, split into 9 possible scenarios. Each scenario has one or two unique CGs followed by a variety of altered CGs for facial expressions and other factors. So, the unique CG count is far fewer than 46.

Japanese censorship is done strangely here. The penises are vaguely pixelated, but not really. And the censorship stops at the base of the shaft, so the balls are high-definition blue-ray quality!

Nacht has an incredibly expressive face. Her cute fang matched with her scarlet demon eyes are perfect for a weakened demon lord. If there’s one fault in the art style, it’s that the bare minimum of design was given to Nacht’s hair in most scenes. The art can steer away from anime, towards a cartoonish style.

The use of camera perspective is also a mixed bag. The plurality of art is from a side view, which doesn’t give a full-body view of Nacht. A few scenes feature a POV perspective from the man fucking Nacht, but it only really in blowjob scenes. The fact is, the artist has an idea of what they want to convey, but often lacks the skill to do more than a simple side-view. There’s no mating press, for example, which felt like a major wasted opportunity.

The standing art is often very cartoonish and the world design in terms of textures and sprites is largely unremarkable. The artist has room to improve. Despite theat, I still busted a nut with ease.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Nacht-sama is Quitting Being the Demon King has no voice acting.

The sound effects in this game play a major role in conveying the comedy and drama of Nacht’s interactions with her friends. Each sound is digitally synthesized, but expressively conveys the “slam” or “shock” of an action or surprise. As with all games that rely on comedy, the dialogue is also well-written to make the most of the sounds library. Despite the game’s short length, it’s engaging every step of the way, thanks to the care and precision of the developer’s sound design.

MUSIC

There are 32 tracks in total, many of which are fully unique to this title. Even a glance at the game files makes clear that each track is named with a specific purpose in mind like the theme song for “Finis”, the main antagonist of the game. Even when the tracks are not devoted to key characters, the simple background music is high quality and unique enough to win you over, even if the characters do not. Sadly, all RPG Maker MV files are encrypted by default, so these tracks are not easily accessible.

HENTAI

Out of the 46 scenes total, the recurring theme is Nacht’s corruption and gradual transition to desiring fresh new cock. Fetishes include corruption, humiliation, size difference.

Although the first erotic encounter is with bandits, dressing in a French maid outfit for the nobleman is the first scene that really impressed me. The blowjob is incredible on its own, but even sexier with the way the nobleman disregards Nacht’s reputation. He conducts business and calls a subordinate into his office, even though Nacht is deepthroating his cock! Nacht has now been exposed as a nobleman’s whore, and word will soon spread far and wide!

If you don’t like the humiliation fetish, there are other scenarios, like hypnosis and standard seduction. Hypno reaches its hottest peak when the man you’re fucking comes into your bedroom in the Demon Kingdom Castle just to drop a load in Nacht’s pussy. And the seduction route is also hot, with Nacht saying “I love you” as the man she has fallen for, fills her pussy with cum.

There are only two things that would make this game better! A mating press scene, and some impregnation content. If those two things were in the game, I’d give it a perfect score for hentai.

SUMMARY

This is an underrated gem on DLsite. The sex is super hot, the sound design is well crafted, and the story has a cute happy ending, assuming you can keep Nacht from being corrupted. Without a doubt, this is an eroge well worth playing that will likely never be officially translated to English. You can be one of the few westerners in the entire world to experience this porn game.
