STORY
Their holy tree Idun is withering and this has an effect on their reproduction habits once every century. Instead of fixing the mess, they plan on mating with other species, whether they want to or not. You assume the identity of Kane, an orc who has been captured in order for your semen to be extracted. You have to escape and take your revenge against these haughty, horny harlots.
The Impregnation of High Elves is a fun fantasy adventure with a decent amount of world building and sex thrown into the mix. Kane starts off the game imprisoned and has to escape, then he needs to outrun his pursuers, then formulate a plan of revenge. It’s a chain of events that makes the player feel like the game is actually going somewhere. Every character is treated like their own boss, in charge of their own section of the game. Unfortunately, once a character has been defeated, they tend to disappear from the story. Furthermore, there isn’t enough time to develop any of the main Elves beyond “insert dick here”.
GRAPHICS
The artwork in The Impregnation of Elves is out of this world. You can tell the developers really went the extra mile in some aspects. There are sprites for all the main girls, each designed with really sexy bodies. Most of them have large breasts, slim bodies, and cute, fuckable faces.
The artwork uses thin lines and light shadows. The sprites also use a more animated and dynamic style than the background art, which causes the sprites to stand out. Unfortunately, sprites have a single, sexy pose and they do not have multiple expressions.
CGs have variations for changing expressions, cock placement and cum. CGs are filmed from sexy angles which makes the player’s dick nice and excited. There are a lot CGs throughout the game, including unique battle failure ones.
Special effects, such as fire or dust, occasionally play over the screen, enhancing the intensity of scenes. Sometimes the camera will pan across locations, creating a cinematic feel. During the mini boss games, there are animations that stretch and pull the characters’ mouths and penises.
Background artwork does not have variations for day and night cycles, but they do pop against the sprites. Most of them have high-quality detail and showcases beautiful hand-painted artwork in a different style from the sprites. They look more realistic in comparison. Backgrounds also have loads of unique features and rich details.
MUSIC
The game’s music uses a combination of original and synthetic instruments which create a satisfying auditory experience. You can hear the piano, guitar, xylophone, flute, and various wind instruments in the soundtrack. Some songs showcase an excellent mix of original and synthetic instruments.
The game offers an excellent variety of songs across different genres, but leaning more towards the dark kind. Ominous songs effectively capture a genuinely terrifying atmosphere, evoking the feeling of being trapped in a dungeon in a horror story. It is used really well to elevate the suspense in some scenes.
Music in the game also mimics the tone and mood of the onscreen action, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Songsย are looped, but without being distracting. For the most part the soundtrack strikes a balance between typical isekai fantasy songs and dark and horror tracks. Sex and battle music tend to remain fast paced.
GAMEPLAY
The Impregnation of Elves combines elements of visual novel with turn-based battles. For the most part, players click the screen to advance the story. The game features choices that don’t affect the overall story. You also have plenty of save slots, as well as common VN functionality like the inclusion of a Gallery Mode to view unlocked CG artwork. The Favorites Mode allows players to replay their favorite events.
There is a mode called “Alice’s Mansion” in the game, although the description does not provide specific details due to the text being in Japanese.
The Impregnation of Elves uses mini boss fights for each of the main girls. During these fights, players must wait for a gauge to fill up before selecting an appropriate response, such as an attack or special ability. If the player fails to block their opponent’s attack, they will engage in some kind of sexy mini-game. In this mini-game, players have a limited number of chances to break free by tapping buttons on the screen at specific times. It’s harder than it sounds.
Players have a certain number of attempts to break free before losing the battle in general. In order to win you have to inflict enough damage on the opponent. The game utilizes attribute points to increase Kane’ power and skill points to learn new special abilities.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
The game’s female main cast is fully voiced and without sprites with expressions, the actresses have to convince you (in Japanese) of their emotions. Thankfully they manage to do just that. Vivian and Nineva stand out, but that’s simply due to their tsundere personalities which is a favorite of mine.
I really appreciate how many sounds the developers snuck into this title. It really made it feel like I was in another crapsack world overrun by horny elves. Embers burning across the screen, chains rattling, various wilderness sounds, clanks and thuds, battle noises and explosions make up some of the many sound effects in the game.
HENTAI
Each girl has at least two sex scenes, one where she punishes you for losing against her and one where you come out victorious. One deals with female dominance and the other male. It’s a nice power balance that is usually filled to the brim with dirty talk, lots of insults from both parties and excellent visuals.
In some scenes, Kane’s cock will stretch and become visible underneath the skin of the belly which is super unrealistic but sexy to see. The game recycles sex scenes where you lose the battle. During the mini games, you are treated to animated sex such as girls sucking you off. Their mouth will stretch that beautiful O-shape as they chomp down on your meat stick.
Given how difficult some of the battles become, I really appreciated the opportunity to put these elven bitches in their place, especially Vivian and Nineva who trash talk you the most. Thankfully in Nineva’s case, I got to indulge in some tentacle sex using tree branches. You suspend the elf up high while you drill your orc dick right up her fanny.
Every sex scene tries to stand out and use a different kink, which I appreciate. The dialogue during these events are wonderfully lewd with very sexy descriptions of what is happening. Both victory and failure sex tend to last for the same amount of time. I will suggest purposely losing once against each girl to unlock the punishment sex scene.
