STORY

The game has multiple routes, and I’m only going to partially spoil one of them: Momoka’s route. Considering her sweet demeanor, it was amazing to see this shy girl surpass her personal and sexual limitations. Her sexual relationship with her brother started on her initiative. She caught her dear brother masturbating in his sleep while moaning out the names of his sisters. She wakes him up and scolds him, but after brotherman explains he’s a horny motherfucker with low morals and no self-control, Momoka accepts him for who he is, and blows his cock.

CHARACTERS

Keiichi is the male protagonist, but you can name him at the game’s start. Yes, for added immersion, you can give the character your birth name. She’s sweet towards her brother, and a master at rationalizing her motivations. She convinces herself that it won’t make her soul burn in hell. Very motherly, and certainly the best “waifu” material.

Nanase Ririna

Ririna is the tsundere of the bunch. She’s the offspring of Rio and the onii-chan of the first game. She’s another spitting image of the original girl, minus the pigtails and a bigger set of knockers. Unlike her mother, she doesn’t kick and ask questions later! A tsundere who DOESN’T assume everything is your fault? A goddamn miracle!

Nanase Yuzu

Yuzu is the flat-chested otaku bait. Unlike her mother, she’s short-tempered and prone to comical clumsiness. Imouto Paradise 2 is a visual novel. You click the screen to “turn the page”. You choose a girl to sex up, this starts the scene. You keep repeating these choices until the game figures out which girl you’re pursuing, and unlock one of the many endings. There’s not much gameplay really, aside from the occasional prompt to choose where in the girl’s body to spray your load.

There’s also a helpful “cumshot counter”, that helps you with timing your orgasm. As the scene progresses, the counter moves up. If you’re determined to keep edging in anticipation of the sloppy creampie climax, this feature is a godsend. You can slow down your fapping, and stay motivated to keep jacking until the end.

It would have been nice to have choices that actually take the story into different directions, like in a standard visual novel. But the game is obsessively focused on the characters, and their relationships.

GRAPHICS

Imouto Paradise 2 has beautiful, modern hentai art. The quality matches, and even surpasses Japanese market standards. The game starts with an opening video, that’s just incredible to watch.

The sprites that show in dialog scenes move around, and change expressions. The visual storytelling is top notch for a visual novel. I remember scenes like when Yuzu and Chiharu jumped in excitement when going to the beach, the sprites hopped up and down, even releasing a sigh bubble. That’s damn emotive.

The sex scenes have gorgeous animation. The movements of the girls are smoothly looped, their breasts bounce, hair sways in sync with the cock thrusts. Their facial expressions change flawlessly along with the sisters’ voice-acted tone of speech. The addition of animation is the biggest improvement from the first Imouto Paradise.

The girls are drawn with large anime eyes, bodily frames that range from thin to curvy, and a good variation of hairstyles. The girls wear the same clothes and hair every day, but there are scenes where you see them in pajamas, and swimsuits. Oh, and of course they wear sexy underwear, sometimes nothing but! As a bonus, Momoka’s sprite wears an apron when she’s cooking, and you get glances of Chiharu in her cheerleader uniform when she’s headed to practice!

The colors on the characters just pop out. I can spot cell shading with pink and orange colors used to highlight the sexy female bodies. The coloring was so juicy, I sometimes just wanted to reach out and touch the sisters’ unrealistically blemish skin. The artists used luminosity effects, but without making things overbearingly shiny. The vibrant backgrounds, are colored and shaded with softer colors to perfectly compliment the sprites layered on top of them. Plenty of detail was put into the backgrounds. Every girl’s room is decorated according to their tastes. This excessive attention to detail, shows the endless fucks that Moonstone Cherry gave about their game.

So far I have been wowed by each CG, background, and sprite variant, but there have been things I haven’t liked. Because the studio resides in Japan, the artists don’t really care about putting details on penises. The protagonist’s cock looks like a forest mushroom, or a rim rod tube of lipstick. My second gripe relates to the the animation scenes. The layers sometimes glitch and overlap awkwardly. All the girls are also virgins, so if blood coming out of a pussy is a turn-off for you, here’s your warning. Third issue: The girls are often staring at the player. I understand that they want the player to feel immersed in this world, but there are scenes where the brother is in the shot and they’re still looking at you.

MUSIC

The opening theme song packs a wallop when it loads, immediately immersing you in the game. The song reminded me of Eromanga-sensei’s opening. But aside from the opening theme, the music is very standard eroge material: You can find very similar content in hundreds of other Japanese hentai games. And for clarification, the music isn’t badly executed, or lacking in variety. The instruments used include maracas, organs, cymbals, piano, guitar, drums, and the occasional “ting” of a triangle. Oh! And bells. There’s energetic poppy tracks for story sequences, while the songs played during hentai scenes are more jazzy, and bold. Despite being somewhat generic, the music blends in flawlessly with the scenes. No song sounds out of place, the style taking into account the game’s shenanigans.

There are two tracks for the sex scenes. I found myself wishing for a third track, for variety’s sake. The soft-sounding, comforting sex track that plays in most of the game’s erotic scenes, didn’t match scenes like the one where Yuzu is taking brotherman’s cock up her cooch in the closet, trying to muffle her own moans, to avoid getting caught.

SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)

The game has plenty of sound effects. Little details like a curtain opening here and there, the sound of someone running, added to the atmosphere. I was very surprised that the developers managed to include so many sound effects without making the audio obnoxious and overpowering.

The sounds of cock thrusting can start sounding off-putting when you listen to them for too long, but in the heat of the masturbation moment, the wet pounding is just perfect.

The voice acting is top notch, anime quality greatness. It’s also nice to be able to distinguish one girl from another based just on how they call for the protagonist. No line fell flat, and you can tell the voice actresses did their best to convey the girls’ feelings and personalities.

The sex scenes start shortly after the girls have been introduced. There’s little to no waiting for the anime tits. There are 14 sex scenes per girl.

The kinks explored vary from girl to girl. You probably won’t like everything, but the range of fetishes guarantees every player should find something to beat their meat to. Every girl gets at least one exhibitionist scene where they’re in danger of being caught by someone in the same room.

The dialogue can be arousing, sometimes downright silly. Getting a few laughs every now and then keeps the constant fucking from getting dull. The male protagonist is the main source of comedy, but the girls too say silly things here and there. It’s nice that the protagonist ain’t just a silent penis.

They have sex in many different positions. The also fuck in different rooms – this keeps the sex fresh. While the protagonist is usually the one being serviced, the girls get their fair share of pleasuring as well. There’s less and less foreplay the farther into a route you venture, until the girls are just sitting on the dick like it’s nothing. There’s always cum displayed in the CGs, even when the angle doesn’t allow you to see where their genitals connect.
