STORY

The story is split into three parts. In the first part, the male protagonist tries to introduce his wife to the idea of another man. Second, she has sex with her boss many times. And third, the ending. You’re given a choice which ending you want to play. The foreplay and buildup is long, but also super hot!

While the story can be predictable, the characters are well written! There are lots of small details to the narrative that amplify the hotness. For example, your wife once mentions that she doesn’t want to have kids for another year. You have to use condoms to avoid knocking her up. But in a secret cutscene, you get to see your wife getting creamed inside her pussy by her boss – completely unprotected! The story heavily implies that she got pregnant, but never outright says it. There’s a scene where the boss says “sometimes you have to lie to people, to keep things smooth”. Sounds to me like she’ll keep pushing you to use condoms, while continuing to take her boss bareback!

The two endings to this game hinge on one decision. Will you let your wife go on a business trip with her boss?

GAMEPLAY

Mayumi’s Cuckolding Report is a visual novel. Click the screen to ‘turn the pages’. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Scroll up to review past dialogue. Bookmark your progress by saving the game into the many available save slots. The game has barely any branching choices, which technically qualifies it as a kinetic novel.

The game lasts six hours even for fast readers. I was very impressed.

GRAPHICS

The art is traditional Japanese anime style. The color scheme is heavy on purple and light blue hues, which matches the eye color of your wife, Mayumi. The game takes place indoors at home and a love hotel. You’ll be staring mostly at the insides of a bathroom and a bedroom. There’s only about four background images in the entire game.

Mayumi’s sprite has changing facial expressions during dialogue, but her range of emotions is limited to “happy” and “sad”. The game shines during its sex scenes, which feel like they have much more effort put into them compared to the regular dialog scenes. The characters either wear business suits, or they’re completely naked. The small details to the game’s visuals are a blessing. For example, I loved how the perspective changes during a scene where you’re watching Mayumi on video, or when people are smaller when they’re further away. The details make the experience more realistic and immersive!

At one point, Mayumi’s character sprite changes. She starts smoking, visibly holding a cigarette in her hand! She never touched smokes before, but picked up the habit from her time banging her boss. It’s all your fault your sexy wife is now a badass girl who smokes dicks and cigs like a boss. Hot!

SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)

The female lead voices all her lines. Meanwhile, the male characters are silent. You don’t really care, because you’re here to masturbate to the beautiful girl anyway. The actress covers the full spectrum of emotions flawlessly.

The script has some problems. The dialog can get repetitive during sex scenes. You hear and read lots of generic moaning and the girl saying “yes” repeatedly. The voice acting was somewhat better outside of the sex scenes. As for sound effects, the game doesn’t have many. You hear the basic wet ‘pat pat’ sound of pussy getting pounded during a sex act. There’s also the ‘beep beep’ of an alarm clock going off. Overall, the sounds are pretty rare.

MUSIC

The soundtrack includes 12 songs. Most of them are recycled from other titles by the developer, Atelier Sakura. If you’ve played ‘Please Bang my Wife’, then you’ve already heard all the songs played in this title.

The most memorable song on the soundtrack was a digitally synthesized piece that featured low-pitch tones. They created an uneasy feeling. The atmosphere was full of worry. The husband sat at home, while his wife slept around. The same song was used for all the uneasy moments in the game. Each track is themed around one single emotion.

Much like the sound effects, the music is secondary to the wife moaning her lungs out in fits of orgasm. Although the music was pleasant to listen to, most of the tracks were very forgettable.

Mayumi’s Cuckolding Report features 15 sex scenes, many of which reuse CGs from earlier scenes.

The writing is stellar. At one point the wife plays the role of a dominant hotwife. She plays the role because she knows you love it! The dialogue was so realistic, I almost forgot I was playing a video game!

The sex positions are limited and there are no animations. The foreplay leading up to the sex is fantastic! My favorite scene was when the husband was waiting all night for her wife to return home from fucking her lover. When she returns, the guy pounces her and takes her slutty pussy for a spin! Out of all the sex scenes, the last one is the best. At first, she wants her lover to pull out and wear a condom, but she changes her mind!
