You find yourself on an island populated with naïve monster girls. You are the only human male there, and it’s time for monster pussy to experience the full power of a horny human dick.

STORY

You wake up inside a cabin on a deserted island. There, you meet Ara and Faranne, a nekomata and a dark elf. They eye you cautiously, demanding to know how you got there. You explain everything you remember. Ara convinces Faranne to take care of you, and she begrudgingly agrees to give you a chance.

From there, the mystery only compounds when you find a familiar face lying unconscious in the monster village. She’s one of the girls who you saw on the beach. It turns out she isn’t a monster girl at all, but an artificial robot. Even worse is that she’s conveniently suffering from amnesia, so you have no way of questioning her. Stuck on the island, you start molesting the defenseless girls.

The story has a slow pacing. The mystery only compounds when more monster girls from different worlds arrive on the island. You progress in the game by going through events and quests. For the most part, quests are shallow. They are usually simple fetch quests, like catching dinner for the babes.

Successfully completing quests unlocks erotic content. Completing the first quest, for example, allows you to touch Faranne’s boobs. If you choose to go further, you can even get a tittyfuck while she’s asleep.

The meat of the game is in the character interactions. The dialogue is decently written and humorous. Talking to each girl reveals more about them, their personalities, and their relationships with each other. It won’t be long before you have a favourite girl.

CHARACTERS

You play the nameless protagonist who finds himself on an island populated by monster girls.

Ophelia is the mysterious artificial robot. Like you, she’s not from the island and hails from a different place. You and some locals find her unconscious, and she seems to be suffering from amnesia. Ophelia is quirky and friendly.

Ara is a nekomata. She is extremely curious about humans. A voracious reader, she loves learning about anything and everything regarding human culture. She and Faranne are the ones who find you washed up on the beach.

Faranne is a dark elf. Apparently raised on stories of human wrong doings, she hates your guts. Despite her aggressiveness, she does not know much about humans herself. Though older than Ara, she can be immature.

GRAPHICS

Monster Girl Island: Prologue has full 3D graphics. The style of character models heavily resembles the Japanese anime art style. I was awed by the character models and body physics. Each girl has a completely unique look and race, ranging from Elves to Kitsune to a holy combination of shark and mermaid – a sharkmaid. There’s even an adorable insect girl to drool over.

The expressiveness of the characters’ faces is a huge plus. You can tell how each girl is feeling through their expressions. Faranne’s disdain is displayed in the scowls she always wears. Ara wears a curious smile, and Ophelia an enigmatic, playful grin. The slow blush that spreads across their cheeks when they ask for something naughty is delicious.

The environmental assets are plain but pleasing to look at. They have enough detail to feel immersive though it’s obvious that certain assets were reused. Faranne’s village occupies a large area and has a number of buildings which look identical. It can feel repetitive when you’re roaming the same area over and over. The filter used in game gives the environment a weird, saturated look, so I recommend turning down some of the graphical settings.

SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)

The game does not have voice acting.

Minor sound effects can be heard throughout the game. During dialogue exchanges, you get a string of rhythmic beeps. It’s a common technique for games without voice acting. I found it a nice touch, and it made conversations with the girls more immersive. Hentai scenes have soft sound effects, mostly the squelch of dick going into pussy.

If anything, the game could have benefitted from more sound effects for actions like walking or picking up objects. It’s understandable, since Monster Girl Island is done by a single developer.

MUSIC

When Ara and Faranne first discover the unconscious Ophelia, a casual song plays in the background. It’s pleasant and comfortable, and gives you the vibe that you’re on a beach. The track is synthesized, but sounded as if recorded with real instruments. The track is short and smoothly looped, but I didn’t find it repetitive.

When night falls in the village, a mystical sounding track starts playing. It’s a combination of multiple atmospheric sounds effects, overlaid with a soft, melancholic tune. With the backdrop of a starry sky, it really makes you feel lost in the middle of nowhere. Different locations sometimes reuse the same song, but all tracks sound good enough that I didn’t mind the repetitiveness.

GAMEPLAY

Monster Girl Island: Prologue has no controller support. Use your PC keyboard.

Press WASD to control movement. Use SHIFT to run. Toggle between running and walking with left CTRL. Open your inventory with the right mouse button. Your camera is controlled using the mouse. You use it to interact with your surroundings, or to talk to the various characters. Pressing M brings up the game’s map.

Monster Girl Island uses a ‘choice’ system. Depending on the colour of the choices provided, you are able to trigger different events in the game. The most important colour is red, which triggers the sex scenes. Keep an eye out for it for some delicious fap fuel.

HENTAI

There is a nice selection of hentai scenes on offer, ranging from simple boob fondling, to forced sex with a monster girl, anal sex, and more. Considering this is just the prologue, I expect to see more content added in the future.

My favourite scene was with Mako, the shark mermaid. Ophelia sends you to deal with her for an unknown reason, and the situation devolves into steamy sex. Mako is turned on by your meat stick and has her way with you. She pins you down, gives you a blowjob and proceeds to ride you with her fish pussy. You can control the pace of your character’s thrusting, until you finally ejaculate inside her.

Being able to control your 3D character is highly satisfying. You’re truly given a first person POV, putting you intimately close to the girl. I wished there were more sound effects. If this game blows up and gets enough funding for voice acting, you’d be able to get off much more easily. For now, the content is small in scale, but extremely fap worthy.

CONCLUDING WORDS

Monster Girl Island Prologue is a commendable game, especially considering that it’s borne from the efforts of a single developer. The game isn’t fully fleshed out but don’t let that stop you.
