STORY
Momoko wants to have children with multiple men. For every child she has, the government gives her a boatload of money! It’s time to get pregnant!
The setting of this game is a real classic. Japan isn’t producing enough babies, so the government will pay women to have some. With this decision comes the full legalization of prostitution that young women exploit for money.
There is no virgin route. The game expects you to get pregnant from prostitution or forced sex. Also, do not come into the game expecting RPG combat or complex gameplay. This game is about sex, sex, and sex.
While the game is advertised as having multiple endings, I’ve only unlocked two. They seem to be determined by money, number of babies, or some other factors. It’s never properly explained.
GAMEPLAY
Sugoroku SEX Dice was created in the Wolf RPG engine, an engine well known for high quality titles. Press A for the text log. Press X to hide the text box or explore the map. Press Shift to skip dialogue. The difficulties are easy and normal.
While the game may look complicated, it’s actually super easy. It’s a board game where you circle the board five times to win! After the first loop you’ll have all the mechanics down! It’s so user-friendly, it could easily be patched for multiplayer!
Red tiles are prostitution, which earn you money. Purple tiles are battles, and you’ll lose money if defeated. There are also shop tiles to spend money on outfits or special dice. When you really need to a roll a three, purchase it from the shop!
After having sex three times, you’ll get pregnant. This means prostitution is impossible until you cross a hospital tile. You can also buy a quick-birth card from the store. Shop inventories are always randomized, so try to save your money!
There’s also a “Haramase Spirit”. When he catches you, your character will lose half her money! You can avoid him by getting behind him or purchasing an insurance card. With that card, he’ll disappear from the game and you’ll lose no money.
Having babies raises your combat level, so purple tiles become easy. Having sex regains your HP. All dice rolls are randomized in case you’re a sore loser. While the game can get repetitive on the later laps, it’s still a well-crafted experience. Board games like this mix gambling with strategy to create a super addictive experience.
GRAPHICS
The art is drawn in the Japanese anime style. There are 20 CGs, one for each scene. Most scenes also have outfit variations. There are five outfits in total ranging from a bunny suit to a nurse uniform.
There are two types of prostitution in this game. The first kind is with random people, and is always shown through sprite animations. From cunnilingus to standing sex, the animated characters are totally cute with their simple animation loops.
The second kind of prostitution offers full-screen CG images. From a gangbang with pirates to a deep creampie from a single nobleman, the variety is fantastic. Cowgirl and doggystyle are the most common positions.
Although it’s a board game, the world design is fantastic. While the starting zone is residential and safe, the later areas are full of monsters hidden in forests with scary trees. Just a glance at the map will tell you how dangerous the journey will be.
Momoko is too cute. Every time she got clothing damage from battle, I wanted to hug her and get her some new ones. When she’s nude, you can marvel at her wide hips and petite waistline. And those knockers are perfect for the babies she wants! If she was a real girl I’d marry her in a heartbeat!
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Sugoroku SEX Dice features full voice acting for Momoko. Some random encounters lack voice acting, but all sex scenes are fully voiced. You hear such classic Japanese hentai dialog as “kyaaah, senpai!” with the high pitch indicating your dick is the biggest she ever had. The developers played it safe with the writing, so I can’t blame the voice actress. She did a great job, she just needed a wider variety of lines. Loading a save file to hear the girl say “continue?” was the cutest thing ever.
The sound effects in this game are standard to most Wolf RPG editor titles. Rather than a dramatic slashing sound, all attacks make an “oomf” sound. Sometimes the sound design felt too safe. When you get caught by a haramase spirit, I would have loved a scary laugh. Instead, the game launches into a sex scene.
MUSIC
The soundtrack has a handful of songs. It’s a boardgame, there isn’t much need for dramatic guitar solos. Most tracks rely on piano variants and string instruments. The primary track relies on digitally synthesized maracas and xylophones. I never felt disappointed with the music. It fills the silence, while letting the voice actress carry the show.
HENTAI
The game has 20 CGs spread over 20 scenes. The two endings have unique visuals.
Most of the 20 scenes have variations depending on outfit. In a normal outfit, the dialog is about fucking a sexy babe. Meanwhile, sex in the nurse outfit features roleplay! The “doctor” needs to put his needle in you to give you special white “medicine”. It’s admittedly cheesy but kind of hot.
While engaging in prostitution will result in pixel art sex scenes, the special prostitution segments have you choose your clients. You get a full-screen CG in these encounters. Choosing between deflowering a commoner or satisfying a hypnotist is incredibly hot. This game has the best of both worlds with random hentai content mixed with content you play automatically.
If you hate consenting to sex, this game suits you too! Surrender in every battle to start taking orc loads in your pussy! Let the haramase spirit catch you, and you’ll be gangbanged by tons of delinquent jerks! There is no monster impregnation, and the babies you have are always human. Still, the pregnancy and birthing fetishes are well served in this amazing hentai experience. Don’t worry, the babies just float on the bottom left corner of the screen, they don’t interfere with things.
