STORY
Jessica was betrayed by her crew and sold into sex slavery. She wakes up in the prison of an aristocrat’s mansion. Every day will be pain and humiliation until she escapes. And when she does, she vows to find Anna and get her revenge.
While the setup to the story is strong, there’s no actual plot after that. You just run around killing human traffickers and criminals until you find Anna and defeat her. After the daring prison break at the start of the game, it becomes a very typical adventure.
There are very few NPCs to talk to. Jessica remains your only party member the entire game. While you’ll feel weak at the start, by the end of the game you’ll be capable of one-shotting Anna if you play your cards right. After that, the epilogue states that Jessica returned to sea and became a great pirate.
GAMEPLAY
The game was created in RPG Maker VX Ace, using systems carried over from the developer’s previous game, SixShooter Tina. Move with the arrow keys. Press C to toggle pose art. Press CTRL to skip dialogue.
Rather than a standard level-up system, this game relies on stat boosters. When you defeat enemies, you earn money which is exchanged for stat boosting items. Want to spend it all on increased attack? Go ahead! Or maybe you want to train your agility and luck? That’s fine too! This allows for unique character builds and a truly personalized experience.
If you’re grabbed by enemies, use skills like twist and rampage to escape. If you’re thrown in prison, use the arrow keys to engage in a simple minigame. Basically, you have to manage your “pride” and “resistance” levels while working to escape. Of course if you’re a good player, you’ll almost never have to worry about this.
On normal mode, the game is about an hour long. I highly recommend hard mode, since the normal difficulty is such a breeze. You unlock hard mode via a password found on the first level.
The lack of free roaming mechanics makes this game a simple experience. Kill enemies, train your stats, use recovery items, and beat the boss. After three bosses, the game is over and you’re placed into the recollection room.
GRAPHICS
The art is drawn in the anime style. Battle cut-ins, fullscreen CGs, and a recollection room were all included in the game to create a truly well-rounded experience.
Jessica is a total cutie. Her long black boots, beautiful blue eyes, and the mole on her left cheek make her an absolute cutie pie. I especially loved her perfectly round breasts. The nipples are big enough to nibble but not too big that they’d be distracting. Overall, a gorgeous hentai protagonist!
There are 10 CGs total, not including a couple of cut-in images for sexual harassment in battle. The artist heavily focused on Jessica’s tits and stomach. There are no artworks showing off her ass, or any images from the POV perspective. And if you’re in love with feet, they get no attention either.
Outside of artworks and animations, the sprites and textures are all stock assets. The only unique sprite is Jessica’s, even Anna was just a recolor of a stock asset. Although Jessica is a pirate, the entire game takes place on land! How strange!
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Lady Pirate Jessica has no voice acting.
All audio files are generic stock assets from the RPG Maker library. Thankfully the game is short, so it never gets repetitive and boring.
MUSIC
The soundtrack includes 11 songs in total. All of them come from the stock RPG Maker library, even the title music! This doesn’t really bother me though, because the game was designed from the start with a focus on stat grinding and leisurely progression. There was no need for fancy music to begin with, so I’m happy.
HENTAI
There are 10 scenes in total, alongside seven enemy types capable of sexually harassing Jessica. The recollection room is only accessible when the game is completed. Naturally, all scenes are unlocked regardless of playstyle.
Jessica has sex stats and sensitivity levels available in the status menu. These rise as she is groped or fucked. On normal mode, I was never concerned about them because enemies go down so easily. On hard mode, these mechanics play a much larger role. If you’re constantly getting groped in battle, pretty soon Jessica’s breasts become sensitive and more vulnerable to damage.
While most of the scenes are simply bondage and creampies, others are pretty wild. In one ending, Anna throws you into a spider pit to be fucked the rest of your life! Dang, and I was hoping for a lesbian vanilla sex scene!
The lack of animation and creative dialogue is a strong negative to some, but I enjoyed the vanilla hentai content. Players should approach this game understanding it’s going to be a hentai romp, not a romantic drama.
CONCLUDING WORDS
Lady Pirate Jessica is a simple and relaxed hentai RPG about a busty blonde fighting and fucking her way to victory. While the story and sound design are basic, the engaging gameplay and hot sex scenes make the experience a fun ride.
