This list goes over cards that I have seen actual players use in their decks in League 1. It’s short and to the point. However, before you read, be aware this does not mean you couldn’t make other combinations of cards viable in your strategy. If you have a deviant idea, just pump up the cards you want with level-ups and reborns, and perhaps they will work. But if you’re afraid of investing resources into cards that may not be so powerful against top end opponents, my list will help you.
If you’re still learning the game, definitely also read my observations on League 1 viable common cards. Read my official review of Cunt Wars. And to become successful in this competitive card game, remember to definitely invest your time into reading my still relevant guide that answers how to advance in leagues in Cunt Wars. And of course, start playing this for free.
Now, let’s get started with this epic list, shall we?
Winged Knight nukes chaos, plus she’s a bulky flier. Very few sweeps target chaos like she does. Her other abilities are just icing on the cake. If you’re struggling against anything like Zombie Lord, she is your answer.
A high level Wild Tamer gets stupidly huge if your board has anything standing. I’ve seen big Wild Tamers gain +61 damage for each minion (including buildings), making her dish out even 300 damage. You can farm souls for her in the Journey.
Ice Clod is a very effective crowd control minion. Freezes one asshole per turn and is very, very difficult to kill.ย His attack isn’t low if you combo him with Void Juggler.
I’ve used Void Juggler in my official deck for years. She gives double strike to one minion, and she deals massive damage herself. The screenshot is old, my Juggler is much stronger now. I use her, even though I own Neyda. Being epic, her base stats are less costly to level up to where I need them to be, so I recommend Void Juggler. She’s available for farming in Journey.
Bone Dragon is an event epic and harder to get access to. But you can buy her for cheap in Journey shop, The Pit shop and Dark Tower shop. While she doesn’t give reborn every turn, like her legendary version, Apep Aspect of Chaos, she has splash. Apep does not have splash, and it may be exactly what you need.
Terror from Below is a great hate card. He freezes non-chaos enemies for one turn upon spawn. Since everyone and their mother is playing Athena, you can enjoy the punish this Lovercraftian monster provides.
Turtle Teacher is one of the few ranged flying minions. His two abilities combo beautifully, and if you have any other cards that trigger effects from spikes, you’ll get plenty of those triggers by playing him.
Winged Protector is a flying melee with mental shield. At higher levels, his health pool is so large, your opponent is very unlikely to kill him in one turn, allowing you to tuck a ranger behind him.
Void Rock is a decent card against Athena and similar minion spawners. She’s very slow as a winning condition by herself, but can act in that capacity. If you can control the rhythm of the game and play a slower style, you might grab sweet victories. But Void Rock will not help you claw yourself back into the game if you’ve already lost control.
Tesla Tower is similar to Void Rock. You can pre-emptively delete all little minions upon their summoning.
Evil’s Helper is effective removal, if you’re good at nuking the clutter out of the board. You have to be really good at clearing large swathes of enemy minions, so you can ensure he hits bulls-eye targets. Fact that his effect plays when he comes to play is amazing, but since it’s random, the rest of your strategy must support him.
Wrathy is a decent silencer, if you need one. I think all decks need at least one silencer minion, and she is definitely the most accessible one. You can farm her in Journey.
Champion of the Arena is favored by some players. She gains extra attacks from kills (including buildings), making her easily hit 3-4 times a turn. She also has block, which is a trigger for the effects of many other cards.
Lake Pixy is the ranged version of Ice Clod, freezing a random enemy minion each turn. She’s great for controlling playstyles.
Keeper of Storm is good for Order players, as his ability comboes with Adam’s summon ability. You can nuke all the clutter in a lane, easily carving a path to victory. I’ve seen this card played surprisingly often in League 1.
Harbinger of War is like the only melee minion who gives permanent pierce bonuses to other minions. If you need pierce for clearing straggles and don’t have access to Blair, consider this guy. I saw a few players use him.
Lady Snow should be a Legendary, because she’s completely ridiculous. She can lock down her opponent’s entire board. Very frustrating card to deal with if you lack means to reach her when she’s tucked away behind buildings or beefy minions. If you add her into your deck, perhaps avoid splash and pierce.
