This is a DLC to the primary game, Public Defense Corp (also known as Civilian Justice League 2), one of the most popular releases by this developer. Story goes, Haruka spends a full month at the Fuk-Me hotel on vacation.

STORY

As an optional DLC, the game follows the full corruption route of the original title. This means that Haruka already has a prominent reputation as a whore who gets fucked constantly as she builds up her public profile as a heroic mech pilot. Sadly, this title features no mech battles or action scenes. Instead, it’s just Haruka whoring around in a vacation resort.

GAMEPLAY

Created in RPG Maker VX Ace. Move with the arrow keys. Press shift to dash. Press A to hide the message box. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Press F12 to reset. These are all the conventional controls of H-RPGs, so it’s a great thing this developer is continuing to match industry standards. As there are no battles in this DLC, it’s focused on walking from one hentai event to the next. Effectively, it’s a kinetic novel. If you skip past the dialogue in sex scenes, the game is under 20 minutes in total.

GRAPHICS

There are only five unique CGs in this DLC, each receiving numerous variation images to convey action. Despite that, the CGs are well done and the developer certainly did not cut corners.

One interesting point to note is the photo-realistic pussy that Haruka is now drawn with. It definitely looks looser than her debut in the original game. Makes sense considering she’s fucked countless men.

Considering its location as a hotel and resort, Haruka can get a tan that darkens her skin significantly as the story progresses. She still sports her classic white hair though, and the art style remains consistent.

Speaking of consistency, the textures and sprites continue to be stock assets commonly used across most RPG Maker VX Ace titles. Considering the developer’s last game included so many unique and licensed assets, it is clear that this DLC was intended to have a lower budget. It’s a little extra fan service.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Public Defense Corp: Ambassador of Peace has no voice acting.

Much like the in-game sprites, the sound effects are all standard assets from the RPG Maker library. While recent games from the developer feature a credits list for all of the licensed assets used, this does not. It’s an effective cost-saving measure, but it also ensures this mainly appeals to players of the original title.

MUSIC

Although 69 tracks are included on the soundtrack, that seems to have been more for meme purposes than necessity. The vast majority of these tracks do not appear in-game and are simply stock assets for the developer to draw upon if he ever returns to this DLC. Many are battle tracks from the original title that simply have no place here.

HENTAI

The five CGs include a handjob, cowgirl position, pronebone position and other standard hentai scenarios. Rather than the unique and creative scenarios of the main game, this DLC features more down-to-earth events like Haruka getting drunk and opening her legs. While the artwork is nice, the dialogue is far too bloated, to the point it detracts from the visuals. The lack of animations is expected from a DLC like this, but doesn’t excuse it from criticism. The overall lackluster quality of the erotic content makes this a regrettably subpar experience.

CONCLUDING WORDS

Public Defense Corp: Ambassador of Peace is a short DLC that’s much more mainstream than the original material the developer is known for. TWhile the artwork is still well drawn, the lack of passion behind the project is visible. Something just feels off. Still, at such a low price, it’s well worth picking up for fans of the original.
