STORY

Kyosaburo has just failed his entrance exams for the third time. He wants to quit everything and throws himself a pity party at home. But things shift quickly when he finds an angel named Mam Kamisa in his apartment. She’s apparently come down from heaven to rescue him.

Kyosaburo is skeptical, but after spending some time smothered between Mam’s enormous titties, he soon comes around. Thus the ideal life of a failure student and his ‘Mommy Goddess’ begins.

The rest of the game is simply a thinly veiled excuse to show Kyosaburo having sex with Mam. There is the paper-thin plot of him using her to motivate him to pass his next exam, but really, there’s mostly sex.

Sex in the streets, sex in bed, even sex at the generic Japanese once-a-year festival. But at least the sex is fun and Mam is an adorable muffin of kindness.

GRAPHICS

The sprites are limited to only Mam Kamisa, and her design is undeniably attention-grabbing. She is depicted with a design that skillfully balances sexuality with beauty. She also looks more like a genie rather than an angel. She has a huge rack, and I love her long, blonde hair. When Mam speaks, you see no lip flaps, but this is fixed by a specific pose that opens her mouth.

The use of thin lines and realistic shadows in the artwork contributes to a polished aesthetic. Vibrant colors for Mam and subdued tones for the background create a visual hierarchy, making sure Mam always holds center stage. CGs have variations for cock placement, cum, piss, and expressions. The camera sometimes zooms in during dialogue scenes, particularly in close-ups of Mam.

The background artwork, unfortunately, presents a mixed bag. While some scenes offer variations for day, afternoon, and night cycles, others lack the depth and detail needed to truly complement Mam’s onscreen presence. The reuse of backgrounds from other titles in the developer’s catalog, like the train compartment from Fuckomotive, is an obvious cost-cutting choice.

MUSIC

The music in Mommy Goddess brings a blend of original and synthetic instruments, creating a soundtrack that, while enjoyable, has some cool nuances. The prominent instruments on display include the keyboard, drums, xylophone and guitar.

However, there is a limited variety of songs. The focus on happy-go-lucky and slice-of-life vibes establishes a consistent mood. The abrupt stopping of music when the mood changes leads to a less seamless transition. The lack of a timed selection towards a particular mood for the scene is a missed opportunity. Despite this, the soundtrack manages to capture a silly and comedic vibe, aligning with the typical tone of slice-of-life tracks. There is one genuinely sad-sounding song at the beginning and end of the game which adds deserved emotional depth.

GAMEPLAY

Mommy Goddess is a visual novel. You click the screen to “turn the pages”. You can click the ‘Auto’ button and jerk off while text flows hands-free. There is an abundance of save slots. The game has two endings with one choice that influences which one you get.

The inclusion of a Gallery Mode allows you to revisit Unlocked CGs at any time while the Scene Mode lets players replay favorite segments. You unlock CGs and other extras as the game progresses.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Mam is the only voiced character and the actress in charge of bringing her to life does a wonderful job. Her voice is so soft and innocent, you almost feel bad for watching her have mad, dirty sex. In bed she sounds like a harlot who just learned how good sex is five minutes ago.

The sound effects are a little dry. Other than the generic spurting and water pouring noises for cumming, there really isn’t much going on.

HENTAI

Sex is refreshingly wholesome throughout this game. I would love to do it with someone like Mam. She is so caring. She caters to every need Kyosaburo has. Whether it’s sitting her ass down on his face and pissing on him or graciously accepting the honor of taking his virginity. She is such a sweetheart.

I also appreciate just how steady the game takes sex. While non-sex scenes start to become shorter, the game doesn’t immediately jump into doing the dirty. Mam starts off by simply blowing Kyosaburo. She does eventually let him have sex with her and only from there do their sexcapades become more daring.

She’ll wake him up with blowjobs, or let him live out his fantasy of pumping her pussy full of cum up against a tree in the middle of a traditional Japanese festival.

The final two sexual encounters are bittersweet and bizarre respectively. Sex in the bad ending falls flat on its face while the good ending sex broke my heart.

CONCLUDING WORDS

Mommy Goddess is good, clean fun. I love the character of Mam and I enjoyed watching her dote on Kyosaburo. There’s nothing deep or special in this title, but that doesn’t detract from how wholesome a time you’re in for if you choose to pick up this title. Download Mommy Goddess.
