For each question Raven asks you, there are three dialogue choices. One will boost her trust, one will lose her trust, and one is a neutral option. For example, threatening to beat up Beast Boy will cause Raven to hate you.
The game is only about 15 minutes long. You don’t really need save states, but there are over 15 save slots are available. There’s also a function for quick saving and quick loading. These features are useful when you get frustrated and just want to harass Raven. Load a previous save state instantly like nothing happened!
GRAPHICS
At first Raven has her entire outfit on, including her cloak. This can change if you’re a charming individual! As she becomes more comfortable with you, she will slowly remove pieces of clothing.
Raven is the only character in this game. She gets many variations in outfits and expressions that truly make her feel alive. Even as you read dialogue, she blinks as she looks at you, waiting patiently for your response.
The art captures Raven’s character well. The artist used mild shadows extensively in an already dark area. The darker shades mesh well with her gray skin and dark bedroom. Even her pillows are purple and black.
A nice touch is the pink in Raven’s cheeks when she gets embarrassed.
SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)
A Night with Raven has no voice acting. The game barely has any sound effects. There’s a jingle that plays as you mouse over different decisions and click menu items, but nothing beyond that. There’s no sex sounds either.
Every other aspect of this game is trying to capture the essence of a silent moonlit night where two people confess their love for one another. In that context, the lack of sound effects works fine enough.
MUSIC
Three songs play throughout the game. The title music is an upbeat bass track that builds anticipation. The ending music plays at Game Over screens with a sad, slow piano piece that captures your feelings of regret losing your shot with Raven. The song that plays throughout your conversation with Raven is a mixture of maracas and piano. It captures the mood of a seemingly calm situation, where really, the pressure to perform is on. While the piano is calming, the maracas remind you that you’re in the middle of a conversation here, and every word counts!

The game offers the full emotional experience of seducing a girl. The build-up towards the intercourse is relatively lengthy, and you have ample time to get emotionally invested in the girl.
