STORY
There is no story in CherryVX. Right from the get go you’re placed into this futuristic gentleman’s club room with large screens and a lady explaining the instructions to the game.
You can’t interact much with the lady of your choosing. They just constantly look at you and don’t talk or move. They act more like robotic sex dolls than humans. That might be what the developer wanted, but it makes the whole experience feel too artificial.
GAMEPLAY
CherryVX is like playing with an adult barbie doll. There are a few customizable preset options for outfits, hairstyles, etc. The aesthetics are nice and fit well into the cyberpunk world. You are able to hold her and move her legs and hands. The points are easy to grab. The models don’t jerk out much, thank God.
The biggest selling point of this game is the D-Mode. You literally put your controller into your pants to simulate the penis in-game. It’s a weird but unique concept, and works surprisingly well! Thrusting feels realistic and there is no “press a button to control thrust speed” interaction. You control the game with your own body! The only downside to this design is that you’ll only have one other “hand” to grope yourself!
Aside from sex, there is also the option of making her dance for you. It does not feel like the sophisticated lapdances you can experience in other VR games, but it’s good. The dancing is very well-rigged and oozes sexiness.
The biggest issue holding this game back is that the ladies are stationary. They are planted smack right in the center of the room and they can’t move. You can’t carry them around either. The interaction with the models is lacking!

GRAPHICS
CherryVX features 3D models. At the time of writing, there are three ladies to choose from. They all share similar curvy physiques. Unfortunately you cannot influence their builds, or create your own characters.
The models look very detailed especially for the genitalia. The ladies have differing areola sizes and vaginal lip shapes. The vaginas are honestly so well modelled I think it might be the best looking vaginas I’ve seen in VR. When looking at the overall character model you can actually see how much more effort they put into the genitalia, they know their audience.
There are a few clipping issues here and there but it is to be expected in a VR title. Fortunately, I’ve only encountered these issues with longer hairstyles and certain outfits, and with how the sex scenes are designed, there is no clipping when fucking which is a huge plus for immersion.
One small thing I really appreciated was that the bras actually worked like bras and wasn’t just a layer of texture plastered over the character. When toggling on and off the bras, you’re able to see the model’s breasts sag slightly without the bra.
There are 3 large screens around you, which acts as cameras to show you fucking her in different perspectives. It is a nice feature but they decided not to have the screens in colour but in blue. Kind of a weird design choice and I felt that having an option to have it in colour would be nice. Some positions don’t work as well with this feature and they show like 3 very similar perspectives which kind of defeats the purpose.
The ladies have few variant facial expressions. They swap between expressions at the snap of a finger. You can be thrusting into a girl and they’ll swap between three expressions while at it. My favourite is when you’re cumming from a blowjob and they stick out their tongue!
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Only the narrator has voice acting. It’s a let down that the ladies don’t have any lines considering the amount of effort put into the models.
Sounds effects include beeps when clicking on menu buttons. During sex the only sounds you hear are the slurping of a blowjob. No slish slosh sounds when fucking. The moans the girls give out are unoriginal stock assets.
MUSIC
There are a few tracks, most of them synth-pop. The music plays on and off. Sometimes you’ll hear music spicing up a sex scene, sometimes there’s no music at all. The music is mediocre, not something you’ll add into your personal playlist.
HENTAI
At the time of writing, CherryVX offers 6 preset sex positions. However, there are more than one thing you can do in each position. You are able to turn the lady around and place your dick at certain points. For example, in doggystyle position you can fuck her vaginally or anally, or turn her around and get a blowjob. Please note that not every position is like this.
With simplicity comes linearity. There are only a few points where you can stick your dick in, namely the face, breasts and ass. When moving your dick around, the game will detect if you’re at a “fuckable” point and change the dick texture to look realistic instead of blue outlines. If you have a fetish for armpits or feet, you’re out of luck here.
The jiggle physics in the game are superb, you can slap the ass or tits and it’ll jiggle like jelly. The physics are okay, better than the absurdity in Dead or Alive.
I was also pleasantly surprised when I found out that the clothes would automatically push to the side when you are going to fuck her while still clothed! Very, very nice touch!
CONCLUDING WORDS
CherryVX is a unique experience with D-Mode leading at the forefront. The simple controls and great character models help introduce beginners to VR adult games. D-Mode spices things up for the more experienced VR adult gamers. All in all, CherryVX is a decent albeit short “plug-and-fuck” package that I recommend you pick up.
