STORY
You and your girlfriend Yuyuna were separated during a shipwreck. She got stranded with a dirty old man. Meanwhile, you’re all alone. Can you find your girlfriend before she gets filled up with the old man’s cum?
This game contains unavoidable NTR. On the third day, she will be creampied in her sleep by the horny old man. You can still get the good ending, but Yuyuna being violated is simply unavoidable on your first playthrough.
The game explicitly tells you that if your girlfriend’s stats make her “lovey dovey”, you can avoid NTR. This is false. She will still be groped and creampied. The only difference her stats offer is whether or not the good ending is available.
There are six endings in total. It’s never explained how to get them all, but most are pretty self-explanatory. For example, go die at sea if you want the bad ending. And let her get fucked if you want the NTR ending.
After release, the game was patched with a bonus scenario of awaiting rescue with Yuyuna and the old man. In this scenario, they fuck behind your back constantly, but your character is too clueless to notice.
GAMEPLAY
Gentle Girl was created with RPG Maker MV. This allows for mouse functionality as an alternative to the arrow keys and keyboard approach.
While the previous game was a challenging puzzle, this game is basically finding items and pure luck. You only need three to complete the game. The key to the western gate, a ladder to climb the wall, and the key to the hospital building. Every other item is basically a red herring.
Like the previous game, you’ll be expected to answer a random questionnaire that will decide Yuyuna’s sex stats. For example, have you eaten lunch today? This will decide if your girlfriend will be a cumslut or a loyal bride.
Unlike the previous game, it is impossible for Yuyuna to be a virgin. Your best-case scenario is that her only sex partner is you. This removes the possibility of Yuyuna being deflowered, and ensures that her sex stats are already high when you start the game. My criticism is, why have sex stats if they’re already high to begin with? Most players like to raise them on their own!
An improvement since the last game is the addition of strength and fullness stats. Strength is consumed by movement and restored by rest. Your level of fullness will determine how much strength is recovered overnight. Consuming food is foundational to your energy levels.
Time passes as you explore the island. There is no time limit to complete the game, nor are there battles. In fact, there’s very little to do outside of finding Yuyuna. Assuming you want to minimize her corruption, the game can be completed in under an hour. If you seek out all sex scenes, the game can easily last up to four hours.
GRAPHICS
The art is in Japanese anime style. Yuyuna’s eyes and other features are noticably smaller than the previous game. Hopefully she doesn’t have another design overhaul in the third release.
The base game has 10 CG images and 10 standing artworks. The latest patch adds one more CG and three more standing artworks. This is a notable shift from the first title. Where the first game limited CGs and left things up to your imagination, this one offers more visuals to enhance the cucking.
The stock RPG Maker assets used to create the island are relatively unimpressive. And the full frontal nudity on the pause menu was unnecessary. Gamers with housemates will be pretty screwed, because you cannot pause the game and leave your computer without exposing giant breasts to the people around you.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Gentle Girl has no voice acting.
The sound effects are generally limited. There were plenty of moments that could have used them, but the developer stuck to the bare minimum and stock assets. For example, at one point the old man is on a cliff above you, sneakily watching your behavior. It would have been a great moment for footsteps or something to increase the tension, but the opportunity was wasted.
MUSIC
There are 27 songs in total, exactly ten less than the previous title. However, both games are similar in their over-reliance on the stock assets of the RPG maker library. Worse still, only two or three tracks are ever used. From the moment you start the game and hear “Stock Theme 1”, it’s liable to put a bad taste in your mouth. This was just plain lazy.
HENTAI
There are about 15 scenes in total. Of course, this depends on how you count them. If we only count fullscreen CGs, there’s 10 scenes. But if we count every random time they have sex, there’s significantly more.
The recollection room offers hints on how to find certain scenes. Each scene has a variation depending on how slutty Yuyuna has become. Scenes are not unlocked by completing the game. The protagonist never finds out he’s being cucked, so there are no peeping or voyeurism scenes like the first game.
While the first game had multiple men competing to fuck Yuyuna, this game only has the old man. And because he’s on the other side of the island, the player has no chance of intervening like in the first game. In other words, this game removes a significant amount of features available in the first one.
I don’t really understand Yuyuna in this game. While in the previous game she was single and free to fuck whoever she wants, in this game you’re dating. And yet, she’s quick to cheat on you arbitrarily after a short time apart. There isn’t even any persuasion! She just does it! It really kills the taboo buildup I was hoping for.

A Gentle Girl and a Short Escape 2 is an entertaining netorare hentai game with a simple premise. You’re stranded on an island and need to find your girlfriend before she cheats on you with a lecherous old man. It’s like a porno from the 70s, except it’s hentai. Very enjoyable and highly recommended for fans of circle Unidentified Flying Monster.
