STORY
Angelic Dreams casts you in the role of an incel jackass. Every night you wake up in a strange void that symbolizes your lady troubles. You have no lady and therefore get no pussy. You envy your brother Yaan who is popular and swimming in pussy. One day you get talked into going up to a girl from your school days, Mai, and ask her out. She runs away one minute into the conversation and leaves you scratching your head.
At work you have to deal with Sonya, your little sister who has a brother complex. Your boss Emma has the most horrific face in all of fiction. There’s this strange stuck-up princess, named Prim, who you bump into on the street and later save from a mugger. In the void realm you meet yet another girl named Alesia who claims to be your guardian angel.
All these girls have different stories that you get entangled in. You lend your support, learn more about them, and win their heart by saying the right thing at the right time.
The writing for Angelic Dreams is horrible. The entire story reads like it was written by someone who doesn’t know the concept of spell-checking. The lack of capital letters, commas and general bad dialogue make it a chore to play though. The plot is all over the place. Every one of the characters is either a walking clichรฉ or just unlikable. Your character comes across as particularly bland and uninteresting.

GAMEPLAY
Angelic Dreams is a visual novel game. You click the screen to “turn the page”. Throughout the game you have to make choices which determines how your relationship with each of the eight available girls progresses. The choices that get you laid are obvious. There are ten animated sex scenes to unlock.
The game has a ‘skip’ and ‘auto’ button so you can speed through all the bad grammar and cringe dialogue. The game has all the basic visual novel functionalities.
GRAPHICS
Angelic Dreams was made using Renpy and 3D models, but the bad kind of 3D models. The frame rate is horrible with lots of pixelation when played on big monitors. The game looks like something a person with no experience in MMD would cook up. The models in the game are crudely designed. Unlike the more practiced shaders that can make 3D MMD artwork look breath taking, Angelic Dreams just looks awful without any special shaders used.
The game also wastes an opportunity to use multiple different camera angles because of the 3D aspect of the characters. Instead, characters in scenes look like bland puppets with no life or emotion.
Male characters have distinctive designs. The game takes several shortcuts. Sonya looks like a scaled down adult model instead of an actual younger sister.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Angelic Dreams has no voice acting.
The sound effects library is limited to stock noises like vibrating phones, thuds and police sirens, among others. The audio design is very basic.
MUSIC
Angelic Dreams has no music.
HENTAI
Sex scenes in Angelic Dreams feature limited animations with loops for handjobs, blowjobs and thrusting in a vagina. The game lacks sex appeal with short scenes that read like they were written by someone who has only just discovered porn. Most sexual encounters happens out of fucking nowhere.
Throughout the game you get to fuck each of the girls. Every box is ticked off the list of basic sex you see in games like this; virginal, vaginal and anal sex. Girls with big boobs give you tittyfucks but it never feels stimulating. The closest thing I came to feeling aroused was when I was doing it with some demon girl. The dialogue just isn’t sexy. The play-by-play commentary lacks appeal. The hentai aspect feels as disappointing as the rest of the content.
