STORY

You assume the identity of Yoshiro, living by himself in a small rural town. On his way home he comes across an injured, naked girl with cat ears and two tails. She is later given the name Rin. You take Rin home with him and nurse her wounds and clothe her. When she wakes up, she lunges at you. It seems this poor kitty girl has been mistreated by others.

You manage to convince her you are friendly and give her some food to eat. Rin is extreme distrustful of humans but she appreciates your help and tells you more about herself. Rin is a spirit who became separated from her family. Desperate to escape her pursuers she ended up in this world but other humans have treated her terribly.

You prove your worth and Rin rewards you by giving you a wet hot blowjob. She asks if she can stay a while longer and you happily oblige if it means getting pussy.

Lonely Catgirl is full of good jokes, like Rin insisting she’ll catch mice for food so you don’t have to feed her. The bulk of the game is divided between sex and romancing Rin. GAMEPLAY

Lonely Catgirl is a visual novel game. You click the screen to “turn the page”. The game is linear with no choices and no branching story routes. The game has all the basic visual novel functionalities. You can bounce through boring dialogue with the ‘skip’ and ‘auto’ button.

In the menu tab, you can customize x-ray shots and face animation. You can also change your character’s name. Replay your favorite scenes in the Chapter menu or skip to the best sex in the h-menu. In the Gallery you can just fap to your favorite CGs.

GRAPHICS

Norn’s games always have fantastic artwork and Lonely Catgirl is no different. Rin’s character has the most adorably huge titties that I have seen. Her cute ears and tails are mixed with just the right amount of pout that you can’t help but want to protect her. The sprite has almost no other poses but enough facial expressions. Rin wears a variety of sexy outfits during the course of the game. Some include a maid uniform, a school swimsuit and a naked apron.

The artwork is rich in detail with vivid visuals and bright, striking colors. The artists show their work by expertly drawing even the smallest of objects. The backgrounds look like gorgeous oil paintings. Depending on the location, sometimes the backdrop will not feature shadows. There is a good library of locations to make the world feel bigger. Country cross roadways, apartment interiors, bath rooms, grocery store, waterfall and meadows make up this small, but beautiful little town Yoshiro and Rin choose to call home.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

Lonely Catgirl has full Japanese voice acting for Rin. From the moment she said her first sentence I was sold on her. I felt so sorry for her that I wanted to bust up anyone who would dare lay a finger on her. The actress sells Rin’s innocence so beautifully. But she has a wide range. She can be playful and mischievous, and a proper sex kitten when her body goes into heat. Her moans are delightfully cute and sexy and made me wet more than once during my playthrough.

The game features a small library of sound effects which include claws swiping, rain falling, stomachs rumbling and thuds. When Rin and Yoshiro have sex, you can hear squelching noises coming from Rin’s tight cunt, cum spurts, breasts shaking up and down. The catgirl is an expert at draining a man’s balls. 

MUSIC

I loved listening to the music in Lonely Catgirl. It’s wonderful. It’s so upbeat and cheerful. The soundtrack has plenty of songs for every occasion. The game uses original instruments for the most part. You’ll hear the saxophone, piano, drums and the electric guitar most often.

Some tracks add synthetic instruments into the song, but they thankfully complement the melody well. The music in the game is confident. You can tell just by listening to the variety of tracks that what the player hears is every bit as important to the developers as what is being shown or read onscreen.

HENTAI

I love the way Norn does sex. It’s always hardcore and super lewd. The studio can turn even the most innocent girl into a squealing slut. There are more than a dozen sex scenes in Lonely Catgirl and they all succeeded in making me wet for more. The sex sometimes feels forced. Rin’s first time with Yoshiro in the bathroom doesn’t feel organic. She just decides to suck his dick and ends up enjoying it.

After this point, the game periodically sets up sex whenever it can. Rin begs you to mate with her and you oblige by popping her cherry.
