STORY
Sumire is an emo girl who’s just craving for some friends, you know? She’s got these dark clouds hanging over her, and she’s seriously thinking about ending it all. But then, out of nowhere, she bumps into Nazuna. This cool girl swoops in, saves Sumire from a bunch of jerks, and suddenly, things start looking up. Sumire realizes that true happiness might just be wrapped up in this one friendship she’s found.
Thing is, Sumire’s not exactly a pro at this whole friend thing. She stumbles, fibs, and messes up left and right. Plus, she’s got this way-over-the-top obsession going on that turns this cute little yuri story into some sort of dark, wild adventure about a yandere who’s dead set on having Nazuna all to herself.
The game dives deep into the heavy stuff: Depression, social anxiety, self-loathingโyou name it. It’s like you’re right there with Sumire, dealing with all her ups and downs. You’ll feel bad for her one moment, then shake your head the next and wonder what the heck she’s thinking. It’s this spine-tingling, emotional roller-coaster as these two characters navigate a friendship that’s pretty messed up.
And seriously, the game doesn’t hold back. It digs deep into Sumire and Nazuna’s heads, showing you just how messed up they can be sometimes, but in a way that really hits home. This game falls into the category of being plot with porn as opposed to porn with plot.
GRAPHICS
The game offers a captivating experience with a variety of features to enjoy. Players can look forward to unlocking a total of 15 CGs. The sprites in the game exhibit a 2.5D look, adding depth. These sprites are animated, with movements focused on the shoulders, hair and various other parts, adding a dynamic touch to their onscreen presence. In certain sexual scenes, the artwork springs to life with looped animations.
Loaded with expressions, Sumire and Nazuna are able to convey a range of emotions, making them feel more lifelike. Each sprite has a number of outfits, along with a good selection of poses, all animated to capture attention. The protagonists, Sumire and Nazuna, stand out with unique and appealing designs that enhance their individuality. An interesting detail is how a character’s eyes may change shape to reflect emotions like upset or embarrassment, adding another layer of realism to their expressions.

While some songs manage to grab attention and stand out, there are instances where certain tracks tend to blend into the background due to overuse. However, these songs are expertly placed to complement the mood, creating a seamless fusion between audio, visuals and the story. The music itself is a blend of both original and synthetic instruments. Original instruments like guitar, drums, keyboard, piano, and harp come together to create a unique sonic landscape.
GAMEPLAY
The game centers around the classic visual novel format, engaging players through the simple act of clicking to advance the story. Along the way, the game presents periodic choices that offer a dynamic element to the narrative. These choices hold actual narrative weight, impacting Sumire’s mental stability and Nazuna’s physical and sexual safety. They also determine which of the game’s eight endings you ultimately arrive at. Among these endings are a mix of various bad outcomes. Beware.
Thankfully you have a ton of save slots at your disposal. Given the complexity of the multiple endings, having a guide handy might help to navigate through the intricate narrative. The Gallery menu lets you view unlocked CGs. The Sound Room allows you to listen to the music, and for those who want to relive specific chapters, the Chapter Select menu allows you to replay your favorite parts.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
The voice acting feels so authentic, brimming with genuine emotion. The actresses deliver performances that are truly remarkable. Oddly enough, most of the sex in this game spawns from making bad decisions, leading to sex that is often very one-sided. Unfortunately, none of the sex is particularly interesting or unique, but the dialogue, combined with the sexy vocal performances and cute visuals make for a nut-busting experience. In each of the scenes, Sumire will be the dominant party, licking or fingering pussy, until Nazuna has no choice but to cum. The sex is very tame for this kind of dark story. I was expecting a lot more disturbing kinks.
Sex scenes end just when it feels like they should be going full-steam. After several playthroughs, I can’t tell if this is because they are legitimately too short or if I simply enjoyed the romps.
