Villa Party is a simulation game published by Universal Game Studio for Windows. Release date October 2019. Has English voice acting. Uncensored genitals. Buy Villa Party for $19.99.
The game consists of attending a party at a luxurious villa and trying to sleep with the guests.
Story
You are invited to a party at a villa: unexpected, I know. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted by Donald, the butler of the host, Richie. The moment you step inside, however, the party already feels strangely empty, with only three women standing in one corner of the living room, one of them dancing frantically for no apparent reason.
Exploring the villa allows you to meet the rest of the guests, although there are not many of them, making the party feel rather empty. The cast is supposedly made up of people from different countries, but this is barely reflected in the voice acting. Aside from the Chinese girl, who has a very exaggerated accent, nearly every other character speaks with the same flat, monotone American accent, which makes the dialogue feel unnatural and lacking in personality.
Gameplay
The gameplay consists of walking around and interacting with things. You might notice you have a thirst, hunger and testosterone meter. The first two are pretty evident, though the testosterone meter is a bit different from the other two: you can lower it down by using the command “masturbating here” (that’s exactly how it’s written in the game) in some rooms or getting it on with any of the people at the party.
Apparently, aside from the usual party activities such as drinking, dancing, and eating an entire orange – peel and all – straight from the fridge, you can also earn money by cleaning up dirty napkins, empty cups, and even dog poop scattered around the house. Because, apparently, nothing says “erotic party game” quite like picking up trash and throwing it away.
The main issue is that the controls are so awkward and the camera so overly sensitive that even these simple tasks become frustrating. Throwing items into the trash can feels unnecessarily difficult due to how imprecise the interaction system is. At one point, I could not even pick up a dirty plate from the sofa near the entrance because the game constantly interpreted my input as an attempt to drop the item immediately after grabbing it.
I also somehow managed to wedge a dirty napkin between the kitchen counter and the trash can while trying to throw it away, all for the reward of two measly coins after the entire ordeal. Moments like these make the game feel more unintentionally comedic than genuinely enjoyable.
I also ran into the issue that after introductions, I wasn’t able to talk to characters again. I was given no clue as to what to do next in order to advance their storylines.
When we meet Richie, he tells us to meet up with the other guys upstairs. I think that because I took some “magic candy” (drugs) before meeting Richie he bugged out. For some reason, his dialogue wasn’t activating, preventing me from going forward. So I proceeded to jack off in the middle of the room with all of the other men watching me. Then I restarted the game and tried speaking to him upstairs, only to find out the event still wasn’t moving forward no matter how many times I tried.
You can also use your money to buy 3 different scenarios: werewolf sex, sleeping with Richie’s mom or fucking a guy. The developer claims to add more content eventually, but I somehow doubt that’s going to happen.
The game is terribly optimized, even when running on the lowest settings. While the initial loading screen is fairly quick, the game makes excessive use of motion blur, and frustratingly, there is no option to disable it in the settings menu. As a result, the visuals become a smeared mess whenever you move around, making it difficult to properly see your surroundings at times.
Combined with the clunky, unresponsive controls, this only makes the overall experience even more frustrating. Simple movement and interactions end up feeling sluggish and imprecise, which quickly turns basic gameplay into a chore rather than something enjoyable.
Graphics
The graphics are made up almost entirely of premade assets, with overly shiny character models placed inside an extremely dark environment. Combined with the constant clipping issues and awkward dance animations, the entire presentation comes across as very cheap and unpolished. Simply put, the game just does not look good.
The villa itself is also decorated in such a bizarre way that it feels like a fever dream mixed with the backrooms. Nearly every room is filled with random paintings featuring either reused 3D assets in strange poses or images of the host’s dog, Jack, either standing still or mid-walk cycle.
Instead of creating an appealing party atmosphere, the environment ends up feeling unintentionally unsettling and strangely empty.
As if that were not enough, the UI is also poorly handled. Text boxes frequently fail to stay properly contained within the interface, often extending off-screen or becoming stuck in awkward corners. In some cases, this makes parts of the dialogue or instructions completely impossible to read.
Voice Acting and SFX
The voices are done with some archaic AI software that sounds like Windows text to speech. The SFX are stock SFX which work fine, but aren’t anything novel. During the sex scenes, the characters tend to repeat the same moans over and over again.
Music
The music is OK, it’s just stock music and at least the volume isn’t too loud. I heard at least 4 different tracks but I doubt there’s much more to be heard.
Hentai
The game is so buggy it’s hard to access the hentai content. There’s also the special scenarios I mentioned before that can be accessed near the entrance of the house. I chose Richie’s mom as the special scenario and it was just awful. The scene takes way too long (20 minutes!) and your vitals go down during this segment. Which means you end up with negative coins because your testosterone keeps going up. During this segment you can’t even move the camera, it’s either fixed in a single spot or moving around without focusing on the action. Plus, you get a zoomed in view showing off the terrible 3D assets and clipping around the genital area. It’s just slow, bad and boring.
It is extremely difficult to recommend this game. It is barely functional, visually unappealing, and even the adult content feels underdeveloped and disappointing. Between the poor optimization, awkward controls, lack of meaningful gameplay, and minimal amount of content, the experience quickly becomes frustrating rather than entertaining. Overall, it’s a very poor imitation of house party.
You specifically enjoy playing poorly made games for the novelty or unintentional comedy they provide, there is very little reason to spend money on this experience. Game download.
