Your harem of waifus is under attack by an evil fire-breathing dragon who loves hot ass! It’s time to prove your bravery to your husband, Bacon Sandwich. You must drag your fat butt on a journey to destroy the big bad dragon!
STORY
Bacon Quest is a very light-hearted dungeon crawler game with a downright retarded story. Your husband, Mister Bacon Sandwich, thinks you’re a coward and no longer respects you. You must defeat a dragon to regain his love.
You play as Syren, a sexy succubus. Your traveling party has three other girls, all with a unique character design but little dialogue to set them apart. Aoi has been your best friend for years, while Melina and Xenia receive no introduction. Seriously, the girls come out of nowhere to just travel with you.
The writing is is full of comedic moments that keep the player wondering what comes next. You stumble on to things that take the story into unforeseen directions, like when you find a random maid outfit on the floor – I’m not spoiling the surprise, but trust me, shit happens. A good example of the madness you’re in for is the magic painting that’s also an item shop. The story is focused less on characters and more on strange and funny moments.
GAMEPLAY
Bacon Quest was made with RPG Maker. Press ENTER to interact with objects. Press PAGE DOWN to skip dialogue. Press SHIFT to sprint. The game can be saved at any time from the pause menu when you’re out of battle.
The gameplay is that of a classic first-person dungeon crawler. Use the map in the top right corner to locate your goal, and go there! Press the right or left arrow keys to change the direction you’re facing. Press the up arrow to move forward.
The game cycle is simple. Kill enemies for gold, go to the store for healing items, then kill more enemies. You gradually travel deeper and deeper into the dungeon, meeting stronger enemies along the way. There are five floors to the dungeon and eight different enemies to face. You can level up ten times in total, but will likely beat the game by level eight.
Interact with vases and other objects to find loot and hentai scenes. Although it may be tempting, be warned that this game has a high encounter rate! The battles are pretty long since all of the enemies have a lot of health. Only look for loot if you have the healing items to back you up!
Overall, the game takes about an hour to beat, but may take longer if you’re a slow reader.
GRAPHICS
The visuals in this game are 3D CGs created in the Daz3D engine. This engine allows the creator to produce many 3D images quickly to create a large number of images. This game has 64 CGs in total.
Character models and background art are included in the total number of advertised CGs. When you remove those and only talk about actual scenes, the number drops to about twenty.
Each character has a unique design from the blue-haired nurse to the red-haired succubus, and they all look gorgeous! The sheer variety of designs demonstrates the creator’s love of 3D art. Each person has some unique features that set them apart, in spite of how limited 3D artwork can be.

Outside of character models, the visuals are not up to par with industry standards. For example, the combat feels all wrong, with attacks having no real impact on your enemies. When you attack, your enemy blinks a white light twice to indicate you’ve done damage. It doesn’t look good at all.
And because most of the game takes place in a dark stone dungeon, everything looks the same. Gray stone bricks everywhere will confuse the players and make you feel completely lost until you look at the map. None of the halls, or walkways look any different from the others. The same texture is repeated a million times.
Characters do not change expressions during dialogue. Whether they’re sad, mad, happy, or scared, every character is tilting her head, smiling like a plastic doll. Very off-putting! There should be more visual cues to what’s going on.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Bacon Quest has no voice acting.
The game takes place almost entirely within a single dungeon, with repetitive sound effects used constantly. They’re all standard to the RPG Maker engine. Nothing special or notable.
MUSIC
The soundtrack includes 15 tracks. There is a mix between standard RPG Maker music and original songs. Most tracks are digitally synthesized. They are of good length, but repetitive and not very memorable.
Sometimes the music will surprise you, like when the composer uses telephone tones and beeps to enhance a song. The underlying beat is covered by bass, and all of a sudden you hear the sounds of a telephone. Creative but weird!
HENTAI
The game has five sex scenes, each with two CGs to accompany them. The rest of the 64 CG’s are still images of bikini babes.
None of the main cast of characters has sex. When you stumble on to a sex scene, it’s your character walking in on other people having sex. You never see those people again, and they don’t invite you to join the fun. Its more voyeurism than anything else.
You rarely read dialog between the people having sex. Instead, your party of four watches and comments on what they’re seeing. You’ll read undying lines like “She seems to be enjoying that” and “Look at how fast he’s thrusting”.
There are no animations, and with only two images per sex scene, they’re over very quickly. The game is more focused on bikini babes, showing how they loose their one-size-too-small bikinis.
CONCLUDING WORDS
Bacon Quest: Lover’s Beef is a strange adult game. The writing can be funny and the gameplay is bug-free, but everything else about it is a joke. The gameplay needs massive improvement, and the number of CGs should be much larger when you’re using Daz3D. Your husband is a cheeseburger, married to a succubus queen. This insane game makes no sense.
