STORY
Asuka is your partner in battle and love. She pilots the fighter jet that assists your mecha robot in battle. You are an inseparable team, even the stars are aligned for your upcoming marriage!
Everything was perfect until your boss, Dr. Mato, sends you to the island of Okigashima to hunt down Trizon, an evil organization. Using your trusty mech Raiouger, your mission is to find the Trizon base and end their plans of world domination!
The mission itself seems simple to handle, but the island of Okigashima has only one woman to entertain the many men! When your beautiful girlfriend Asuka arrives in town, the men start making moves on her!
The game has four endings in total. Each ending follows a different man who steals Asuka from you.

GAMEPLAY
Use arrow keys for movement. Press โZโ to talk to NPCs and activate items. The โXโ button cancels dialog and menu choices. Press Shift to fast-forward through battles. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Right-click to hide textboxes.
Go out and defeat Trizon forces to farm for resource points. Battles are basic turn-based RPG fare. Return to your base after a successful mission if you want to upgrade your mech or purchase new attachments.
You’re only given resource points for completing missions. Killing enemies offers no rewards.
There is a ten day time-limit to complete the game, which is not even close to enough time. Upgrading your mech will take one in-game day, meaning it does more harm than good.
Equipment can only be bought, and never sold. This means that you’ll always be out of money when new upgrades become available in the shop. The upside is that you’ll always have a wide range of equipment to customize your mech.
Upgrades to the jet-plane swap out abilities, rather than adding new ones. Meaning, those upgrades are usually pointless. Enemies have terrible pathfinding, and only occasionally pursue the player. Many times, you’ll walk right past them, and they won’t stop you.
The last level is a very annoying sequence of fighting every boss in the game, all over again.
Combine all of these things together, and you have one of the most unpleasant gaming experiences in internet history.
GRAPHICS
The art is Japanese anime style. There are over 600 images total and 70 sex scenes to view.
Every sex scene and position has unique variations dependent upon Asuka’s outfit and corruption level. The sexiest scenes are when Asuka is on her knees giving head while wearing her skin-tight flight suit. The professional military attire in the erotic situations is an orgasmic combination!
The game map can be easily navigated thanks to a bus-stop system where plays can fast travel across town. The distances are manageable by foot, but the fast travel is still a very nice feature.
The main issue with visual presentation is that the world eventually appears generic and boring. After walking through town for the hundreth time, the gray sidewalks lose their charm. Meanwhile, the girls of Hikari! Clover Rescue never lose their charm.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Thunder-Steel Raiouger has no voice acting.
The sound effects are fitting in combat, and silly in lewd scenes. The sounds of bullets and electrical shocks are downright thrilling, and really immerse the player in the mecha battles. In contrast, the blowjob sound effect is similar to the noise of someone rolling pizza dough. The audio is a mixed bag, and not impressive at all.
MUSIC
The soundtrack has 23 songs, all of which are unique to this title. The piano is mixed with digital synth and a drum beat to match. The music outshines every other aspect of this game. Put this music into any other title, and the world of hentai gamers would be praising it to high heaven. It evokes such passion and emotion, like a final fantasy soundtrack, and I adore every moment of it. Sadly, there’s never an occasion for emotional moments in this game.
HENTAI
Thunder-Steel Raiouger has a total of 70 erotic events, with 29 unique images and many more variations for clothing and facial expressions. Featured fetishes include blackmail and netorare. The cheating girlfriend trope is abundantly explored, with frequent mentions of Asuka’s disloyalty and lustful body.
There is absolutely no corruption in this game. At the smallest threat of blackmailing, Asuka is immediately giving handjobs and blowjobs to every man in town. The game fails to deliver the cheating fetish, and only shows some slutty redhead being a slut.
Players can switch between the perspectives of the clueless boyfriend and Asuka, and see what is happening from both perspectives. This feature is very under-used, and there are only a few relevant scenes involving it.
My favorite scene is when Asuka finally agrees to have sex without a condom, but only if she’s the one controlling the pace and position of the fucking! Thunder-Steel Raiouger is a fun little netorare hentai game. The music is fantastic and the visuals serve their purpose well.
