STORY
The writing in this game is predictable, but very hot. The masseuse gropes Ayame, the orc commander wants to fuck her, the troops fighting the orcs want a blowjob, and more! It’s the classic hentai RPG experience; everyone wants sex with you!
As you help the nearby villagers, you’ll learn more about life under the orc horde. For example, some villagers were preparing to counterattack using a secret tunnel alongside the castle! If you get intel on how to find it, you can use the tunnel yourself!
The game feels almost incomplete in some areas. For example, you allow a homeless man to grope you, then later you have thigh sex. Dialogue and artworks seemed to indicate she might fuck him next time, but there is no third scene.
GAMEPLAY
Ninja Girl Ayame was created with RPG Maker MV. You can move with the arrow keys or mouse cursor. S, D, and F keys are used for quick items like rice balls and bombs. V is the key used to activate stealth mode. Rapidly tap Z to do a melee combo. Or, hold the Z button to charge a fireball.
As an action RPG, combat takes place in real time. Combat rewards good reflexes and ability to predict your opponent’s next move. By simply moving out of the way, you can dodge their attacks and breeze through battles without ever taking damage. Alternatively, you can level grind to raise your power.
The recollection room tracks which enemies you’ve beaten as well as their stats. For example, you can find out what item drops are available from different levels of enemies.
RPG Maker MV is not the best choice for an action RPG, because it can’t handle multiple sprites moving on screen. The frame rate will often dip due to the game engine. The better choice would have been Unity.
The game has some flaws. Damage doesn’t register on certain locations like the forest bridge. In a worst case scenario, an enemy can corner you there, leaving you boxed in and dead. Cheap deaths like this are unacceptable in an action RPG.
The game should take about four hours to complete. On the positive side, you’ll get to explore the crafting system and skill trees for Ayame. On the negative side, level ups don’t do anything except give skill points, so you’ll quickly find a limit to your power. I don’t agree with this design, it’s not fun.
GRAPHICS
The art is Japanese anime style. There are 29 base CG images, most of which involve monsters sexually harassing Ayame.
These artworks are gorgeous. From knees and elbows, to Ayame’s perfect hips and waistline, each part of the human body is drawn perfectly. Whenever she’s excited, Ayame’s cheeks blush into an obvious pink, and her eyebrows wrinkle a little. While she’s usually expressionless and covers her mouth with a scarf, Ayame has a super expressive face when she’s taking a pounding from thick cock.
The biggest problem with the visuals in this game is the lack of any unique sprites or textures. From the cabins to the villagers, all assets in this game come from the stock RPG Maker library. The only unique character is Ayame.
The world design is fantastic. At the orc castle you see a road to the east barricaded and blocked. Later on you can find a way around that through a cave tunnel, and discover that there’s a human army fighting the orcs in that direction.
Many scenes feel like they should have been one scene. A goblin gropes Ayame, which leads to fucking. While these are two separate scenes, they really shouldn’t be. The developer claims there are 29 scenes in total, but that number is partially inflated.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Ninja Girl Ayame has no voice acting. The sound effects are limited to combat. Most sex scenes have no sound effects. Whenever sounds are used, they come from the stock RPG Maker library.
MUSIC
There are 28 tracks in total. Some of them are repetitive trash without any creativity. Some tracks mix a variety of instruments like an accordion and drums to create a unique beat. Most tracks are only a minute long. The vast majority of the music is stock assets or licensed music. In spite of the large soundtrack, only a handful are ever used.
HENTAI
There are 29 sex scenes in total. 30% of them are human sex, 30% are with orcs and goblins, the rest are with tentacles and slimes.
Most scenes are found via sexual harassment in battle. Some of the best scenes are found when Ayame is defeated in battle. Most times, she’ll use the last of her strength to escape from her enemies, but sometimes she’ll be caught! My favorite example is when the orc commander captures her in the brothel and uses her pussy like an onahole! She wakes up in bed a few hours later, totally sore!
At the end of the game when you face the orc leader, he has his own unique scenes for if you’re defeated. Watching him plow your ninja pussy and make you his sex slave is an incredibly erotic sight. The disciplined ninja is now just another sex toy!
My only complaint is that Ayame rarely gets fully nude. That means we rarely see her tits, and only get a good look at her ass once or twice. For a hentai game, this was pretty light on the nudity.
CONCLUDING WORDS
Ninja Girl Ayame is an amazing hentai RPG. The main character is cute, the gameplay is engaging, and the sex scenes are super erotic. While the game seems generic on surface level, it’s a super well-crafted experience.
