STORY

There is no overarching story. With a handful of choices, you will either treat Sumire well or badly. Depending on how you treat her, she might leave you or become your official girlfriend. This is a slice of life visual novel, the genre is “reverse isekai”. This is when a character from a fantasy setting comes into the real world. Sumire can perform jutsu and fight ninjas, but is clueless about modern technology. All of the comedic situations in this game spawn from the reverse isekai premise.
Don’t expect a great story. This is a pure love waifu game. Sumire is clumsy, uninformed, a horrible cook, and afraid of dogs. She is a clueless virgin who fell from the sky just for you. You are the big strong man who takes care of her!
Depending on how fast you read, this game has one or two hours of content.
GAMEPLAY
NinNinDays is a standard visual novel. Right click to hide the text box. Scroll with the mouse-wheel to show the text history. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Either click the screen or press Enter to advance the story.
This game can be played without the mouse by using the arrow keys, enter key, and/or auto-dialogue. It’s more like an interactive movie. There are about seven choices in the game but they are largely meaningless. For example when you walk in on Sumire changing, whether you choose to stare or run outside, the dialogue is the same. Choices don’t affect dialogue, they affect only your ending.
GRAPHICS
The art is classic Japanese anime style. Sumire is animated.
Sumire is 5’2 and 92 pounds, big breasts, amber eyes, and a perfect hip to waist ratio.Even though she is the only girl in the game, she’s sexy enough to keep you satisfied. She wears multiple erotic outfits throughout the game.
The animated visuals in this game were crafted with the E-mote graphics system. This program is used for original animations and for augmenting 2D character stills into 3D. It’s an expensive program, but the quality is fantastic. The system even allows jiggle physics for breasts. As she sways from left to right, blinking, even flashing a peace sign, you feel like you’re talking to a real breathing girl!
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Sumire is fully voiced by the lovely Mikan Nonaka. Every single line is voiced. Even when you peep on Sumire changing, she gets angry and scolds you for your mistake. On the opposite end, she also talks tenderly when she confesses her love for you.
The sound effects were completely unique and very enjoyable. Japanese clackers and similar effects are common. Even when Sumire demonstrates her fire jutsu, the sound design fits perfectly and matches the exciting moment of fire appearing out of thin air. Whether it’s throwing senbon needles or dropping pots and pans, there is always something new to mix up the audio experience.
MUSIC
The soundtrack includes only a handful of tracks, which are thankfully all unique and lengthy.
Japanese string instruments like the koto dominate these tracks. There is a single track that plays for all of the silly scenes. Mixing fast paced piano with guitar and other random noises, the track is bouncy and conveys happiness and suspense. This particular song is good but very over-used. The menu theme actually made me emotional, but sadly it was never used during the actual game. The music in this game is not perfect, but still quite excellent.
HENTAI
NinNinDays features five sex scenes. Each scene is beautiful, but spaced out far apart from one another. In fact, two of the scenes cannot be accessed unless you make specific choices. There’s a handjob scene, a footjob, blowjob, and two vaginal scenes. Each scene is incredibly hot with the inexperienced Sumire trying to please you. Erotic dialogue is standard, with the flustered guy just laying back and receiving service until he takes control and begins pounding her pussy. These scenes are not animated.
Sex is not the focus of this game. You’ll probably play for over an hour with no sex scenes. There will be upskirt shots and other ecchi moments, but no actual sex until late in the game.

NinNinDays is a fantastic visual novel about an innocent girl falling in love. The soundtrack is small but full of fun, competent tracks. The audio brings scenes alive. The reverse isekai premise leads to many comedic moments, and the fantastic voice acting wraps up the package with a tight pussy-pink ribbon.
