Asian dude is criticizing a mindset that doesn’t exist. It’s a very broad generalization. Most people aren’t focused on generating wealth just for themselves. I know very few who are motivated like that. Selfish people run out of fire very quickly. Once you reach a plateau of wealth where all your needs are met, like having medication, food, water, heating for your home and some entertainment, most run out of fire. You rather sit at home, watch porn and play videogames.
Anybody with grander ambitions than base-level material satisfaction is usually supporting a family, or financing a dream or cause, or even pursuing altruistic purposes, like building hospitals to developing countries.
When selfish reasons and altruistic reasons are aligned, you unlock high productivity. That epiphany, that this is how people are deep down, is what made free market economics the dominant force of the planet. Slavery in the western culture bloc was wiped out in a generation when men’s greed as the mechanism for productivity was discovered.
Now, our societies are learning the hard way, it wasn’t just greed that motivated men to work. The main reason men cared about busting ass was because a successful career gets the bitches wet. The actual driving force of the economy was the sex drive. But because feminazi lobbies dismantled the institution of marriage, making it easier than ever to divorce, many modern men no longer give a fuck. Productivity of western men is crashing. Testosterone levels are crashing. The economy is tanking. Many trends are bleak. And when men don’t fuck, the goat shall cross the Rubicon.
But I digress. Asian dude lacks desire. He spends $10 a day, he says. To a person without impulses, the deepest desires of people will seem superficial. What’s the point of flexing? Why wear fancy designer clothes, drive a lambo, own a big mansion, or sex up bitches with big asses? Why make a show? If you’ve not experienced the contrast, this will seem superficial.
The purpose of bling-bling is to convey “fuck you” to everyone who ever made your life a living hell before your rise to power. It is vitally important to let every-fucking-body know “I was always above you small-minded bigoted bastards”.
When you work hard, what you buy is choice. Know how many people join your life when you start making bank? It’s an increase in the range of 1000% and 10000%, on a rough estimate. You get to choose your associations.
Here’s the thing. Earning fat stacks makes people pay more attention to you. The social influence you gain, which Asian dude consciously leverages, many of his videos in the vein of “my opinions as a millionaire”, is something he clearly values. He thus conflicts himself by talking about how money isn’t important. He loves the attention.
It’s a juvenile impulse to desire attention, but if the desire goes unsated, you’ll become warped as a person. I know this, because through my work as a hentai blogger, I have lonely narcissistic people in my life, almost all of them suffering from a lack of attention. People who crave attention often didn’t get it while young. You shouldn’t deny yourself the satisfaction that people’s admiration brings. You’ll be much weirder if you don’t aspire for peer approval.

Over-focusing on accumulating material wealth is certainly unhealthy, but it’s insanity to give it away to calculative elitist psychopaths who in their “infinite wisdom” redistribute your wealth more “equitably”. Most of the time they spend your taxes retardedly. You know best what you need and your family needs, and you waste less resources than governments.
You have the freedom and the right to make bad choices. That’s how you learn to make good choices that lead to success in all areas of life. Suffering consequences of your own stupidity teaches the topmost valuable lessons.
Earning a lot is also about long-term survival. You need to be earning buckets to afford the bumps in the road. Many things will drain you as you age. Without cash, the bumps will kill you. For example, if you get cancer, like some of my relatives and friends have, it’s very expensive to treat that. You can get triple-whammed by mortgage payments, taxes, healthcare costs.
Asian dude makes a good point about taxes. Progressive taxation makes personal sacrifices useless, because all you do is fatten the government. In my view, western societies functioned better when men owned a bigger chunk of the fruits of their labor. It actually made sense to work hard, because you, your wife and your offspring gained permanent benefits.
But we’ve muddied the waters on what constitutes private property by over-taxing highly productive people. This is enabling governments to finance stupid wars and ineffectual public services, making the common people lose respect for private property. That’s how you get these “fiery but peaceful” protests that cause billions in property damage.
When it’s not your stuff, you don’t care.
What Asian dude is right about is that women shouldn’t be sacrificing relationships for work. Because a woman’s value is defined not by what she does, but who she is. It’s reversed for men, your usefulness is your hardest social currency.
A man backed by a desirable woman is unstoppable in the job market. He’ll work his ass off to afford the babies. When men do most of the work, women can focus on taking dick. Bitches retain their femininity best in a low-stress home environment. They can focus on the hard job of ensuring that the kids grow up into well-built individuals. The simple act of making daily high-nutrition home-cooked meals is beyond important for making a household function optimally.
He says more stupid shit in the video, but basically everything he says can be countered. This guy just doesn’t quite comprehend how human beings work. An outside perspective will make everything humans do seem like insanity. When you fade out all context, minimalism will seem like wisdom. This is only the case when you’re not organized enough, or using the proper softwares, to pursue massive wealth without harming other aspects of your life.
