STORY

Characters are shown from lots of different camera angles without changing the pose of the 3D model. This makes it feel like the game has more CGs than it has.

GAMEPLAY

The Witchers: Wild Cunt is a visual novel game. You click the screen to “turn the pages”.  The game has subpar visual novel functionality. At the start of the game you can choose to play a straight lesbian, or a futa lesbian route. 

There are enough slots to save and load your progress. There is no ‘auto’ or ‘skip’ button available. There is no Gallery where you can view CGs from the game. Sometimes the game will ask you to make choices. These choices have no impact on the rest of the game. The game has no branching story routes.

VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)

The game has no voice acting.

You can hear certain abstract sound effects when you click on menu options. Magical spells sometimes prompt sounds, but not nearly often enough. Beyond these limited examples, the game is devoid of sounds.

MUSIC

The original soundtrack is full of wild, hard, heavy metal tracks with epic vocals. It plays on the front screen and acts as a reminder of how cool The Witcher franchise is.

The music features beautiful block flutes that join a collection of wind instruments that create a relaxing melodies. The music perfectly fits a fantasy world based on medieval folklore. It feels right at home in this game. Some scenarios feature songs inspired by Egyptian culture. All songs loop continuously without notice. The track list is unremarkable, but not forgettable. Music in The Witchers is limited. Songs do not necessarily compliment the events taking place onscreen. Songs are slow-paced with a calming beat.
