STORY
Princess Cecily becomes Edenโs Ritter Lucifel, a warrior of God. She is able to defeat the Lustfiends that are invading her kingdom. However, the drawback of such powers is that her own lust keeps getting stronger and stronger over time. She will fall to carnal desires should she not learn to master her powers.
There story has some filler parts that get repetitive over time. The antagonist summons a Lustfiend to bring the downfall of Princess Cecily and usurp the throne for himself. Every time, Cecily overcomes all odds and kills off said Lustfiend, then goes back to her room to self-reflect. Rinse repeat until there’s progression in a major story arc.
The story spans a good 15-20 hours, which makes this one of the longer nukige available. Princess Cecily fights repeated onslaughts by Lustfiends while trying to control her own lust! One wrong choice and her quest is done for!
This version of Edenโs Ritter also includes the extra stories. These stories feature wild โwhat-ifโ scenarios from the main game, jam-packed with sex scenes.
GAMEPLAY
Edenโs Ritter is a visual novel game with all the functions included. This version also includes a 16:9 graphics option which makes everything look better.
The game features choices that you can make, and for most scenes, choosing the non-optimal option leads to bad endings where Princess Cecily gets her pussy destroyed, her life force sucked out of her, eventually killing her. It’s pretty dark stuff, but befits such a chaotic fictional world.
In order to see every scene in the game, you have to save at every choice checkpoint and choose the wrong one to see the dick-in-pussy action. Thankfully the game provides players with a total of 80 save slots.
GRAPHICS
Edenโs Ritterโs art is drawn by Q-Gaku, the same illustrator as in the Kyonyuu Fantasy game series. The artworks are drawn in the typical anime style in great detail. Character sprites are high quality. Many scenes involve monsters!
The game features a wide variety of scenes. There is an abundance of tentacle sex. Characters tend to get humiliated and strung up by tentacles and groped by them, the scenes itself changes a bit during the whole action with the characters having different facial expressions and tentacles moving around.
Battle scenes have animated effects! Whenever Cecily casts her spell, the whole screen lights up and a firework effect flashes on the screen. If Cecily gets hit, the screen flashes in red. These nifty additions make the battles feel more alive!
SOUND EFFECTS AND VOICE ACTING (SFX)
Voice acting is available for all characters, even minor characters! Cecily sounds the most expressive of the girls. Meanwhile her commander, Noein, has a stoic and flat voice. Cecily has very obvious intonations in her speech and you can easily read her mood from her speech. A very good job done by Mei Misonoo, who also does voice acting work for hentai anime.
The sound library in Edenโs Ritter is huge. There is a sound for pretty much everything in the game. Most creatures have their own distinct roars and shrieks, which you hear especially during battles where the sounds shine the most.
MUSIC
There are 17 tracks total in the game, and they have a distinct thematic that differentiates between battles and sex scenes. Battle music sounds like your typical upbeat JRPG boss fight music, whereas sex scenes have a softer, eerie theme. There are a few tracks that mix both themes together, and those are the ones that play during the bad endings.
Overall the music is really high quality. I didnโt expect such good stuff from a nukige. The music definitely enhanced my fapping experience!
