Illvina has finally saved enough money to move to the big city! But when she learns of a conspiracy and a series of burglaries, she makes it her goal to solve them! Little does she realize that the men of the big city only want one thing!

STORY
The full title of the game is literally “Naive Girl Illvina – The Gift to the Royal Family Stolen”. And that pretty much sums up the plot. A burglar stole three gifts that were intended for the royal family, and you have to catch them.
Illvina is the protagonist of the story and she’s super naive. Like when someone calls criminals “rats” and she says “criminals must really like cheese then”. The humor is a bit predictable, but I’m a sucker for bad jokes.
There are three supporting characters. Maho the redhead mage is essential to solving the mystery. Kallisto the righteous royal guard helps you find leads. And Anna the guildmaster gives you work to help earn a living.
At the end of the game, it’s revealed that Anna stole the gifts because she was following the directions of the princess of the royal family. The princess is a spoiled brat and caused all this mischief for her own amusement. Her name is Princia, and after you befriend her, you can play as her in the post-game.
Visit the lumberjack, visit the ruins, talk to people around town, and the game is finished. However, the writing is so good, it doesn’t matter that the plot is so simple! A single playthrough takes a bit under 5 hours, and finding all erotic content in the game will take about 8.
The game is so lengthy mainly due to the realistic and entertaining conversations. There’s a ton of lore about the world if you’re interested, and slowly gathering evidence before the grand finale is a great experience. Even though catching the thief was anti-climactic, the journey getting there was super enjoyable.
GAMEPLAY
Naive Girl Illvina was created in RPG Maker MV. Right click to hide text boxes. There is no text log or auto-text function.
There are no level-ups, stats, or items to equip. The core gameplay loop is to go out foraging. Walk into the forest and pick up whatever items you can find. At first it’ll be flowers and herbs, but later you’ll unlock the fishing rod and mining pickaxe, which expand the possibilities of items you can acquire. Of course, your main source of income will be weapons and armor left behind by traveling adventurers.
For every item you pick up, you’ll lose a bit of TP. This recovers by sleeping and eating regularly. I recommend buying the pajamas early on, so you can restore extra TP overnight. Rather than worry about level-ups, this game often has you focus on budgeting and saving money to buy special items.
The postgame unlocks Princia as a playable character. Walk around town and talk to NPCs to find unique erotic scenes of the princess fucking the peasantry. This character swap feature makes a comeback in the sequel, but for now, it’s pretty limited.
Talking to adventurers in the wild will lead to instant defeat sex. Similarly, walking through the slums at night will also cause instant sex. If you’re trying to have a virgin playthrough, save often. Not that it matters though, since the game only has one ending.
GRAPHICS
There are about 30 CGs spread across 70 scenes. There are also six pixel animations for minor scenes where Illvina fucks nameless strangers. As you may have guessed, some CGs repeat like Maho’s standing sex artwork.
Although the city is built with stock textures, they are used creatively enough that the setting has a unique personality of its own. With the upper quarter on higher ground, looking down on the lower levels, with the slums being the lowest. The slums are a heavily crowded region of damaged houses with tons of dead end alleyways. Each region of town really does feel like the theme it’s based on. Like the rest area having a fountain and beautiful trees while the business area is all concrete and shop signs. This is using stock assets the right way, by creating a unique and believable city space!
The animations in this game are not simply loops. Rather, they increase in speed and lead up to sexy creampies after playing enough. The movement and action on screen really sells the notion of Illvina getting fucked hard by a stranger.
Even the small details of this game are sure to impress! Like the cute chibi icon on the windows toolbar, the diagonal movement during dungeons, and the absolutely gorgeous artwork when you first meet Kallisto. Visually, the game does a fantastic job of drawing the player in and keeping them interested for more. I can’t wait to try the sequel and see more of these beautiful character designs.
VOICE ACTING AND SOUND EFFECTS (SFX)
Naive Girl Illvina has no voice acting.
Due to the lack of combat mechanics, sound effects are used sparingly and mainly isolated to footsteps and doorways. The generic menu chimes on the title and pause menus are assets you’ve heard a thousand times before. The game has a heavy focus on the central mystery of who stole the items, so the tension is higher when you focus on the text and images rather than audio.
MUSIC
There are 19 songs in total. The soundtrack is partially stock assets but also some unique tracks as well. Sometimes the music is disappointing and other times it’s incredible. There is no title music and the first song in the game is a stock track from the RPG Maker Library. On the positive side, you get some fresh exploration music when you leave the village. Dramatic story moments like Gustav questioning you about Kallisto are always matched with serious melodies.
HENTAI
There are 70 scenes and under 30 unique CGs. Six animations are used, but this is the minority of content. Sexual encounters have no effect on the story. Sex stats are tracked in the pause menu.
A great feature of this game is that, even if you want to keep Illvina pure, you can still view sexual encounters from the side characters like Maho, who has sex with her boyfriend. On the negative side of things, seeing Anna and Kallisto act so slutty felt a bit out of character.
This game does not have NTR content. There is a scene where someone has a crush on Anna but she fucks someone else. There is another scene where someone has a crush on Kallisto but she fucks someone else. That’s not really NTR though, as the characters were never together to begin with. Even still, if this borderline NTR content bothers you, it can be completely disabled at the start of the game.
The recollection room in the player home splits sex scenes into 5 categories. The slums, the town, the wild, and part-time jobs. The fifth category is for the side-heroines and their scenes. The princess and her scenes are only available after completing the game.
I love how the princess has sex stats tracked separately from Illvina. Number of sex partners, first partner, and so many more. I loved raising those numbers a second time and watching the pure princess become a total whore!
Illvina’s scenes are the standard hotsprings, massage, getting drunk, and so on. The princess however, has some really hot scenarios! Like how a magic blessing protects her womb from impregnation, but she gets so turned on, she almost disabled the spell on her own out of pure lust! Imagining the royal princess getting impregnated by some bum made me cum like crazy!
CONCLUDING WORDS
Naive Girl Illvina is a fun little adult game about the simple mystery of a prolific burglar. The world is beautifully designed, the gameplay is simple, the anime girls are delicious and their sex scenes damn hot!
